@EversPrimeTime, Fun Fact, The Anne that came back after her death is a clone and not the original. This is hinted by the fact when she came back the missing shoe switched feet. I think the leaves in her hair also switched sides.
I love the final quote. “Accepting change means accepting you’ll leave some people behind” is a powerful message. But it becomes even MORE powerful when you then add on “but some people will never truly leave you.” That was beautiful. Thank you so much for watching this.

You need to read Marcy's Journal now, it's got lots of insight into Marcy's life in Amphibia, and Anne's life back on earth in Season 3, as well as some stuff from after the finale and secret notes with added lore the final entry is really cool seeing them meeting up after those years.
With that out of the way I absolutely love this show, it's one of my favourite shows and absolutely my favourite Disney animated show.

Amphibia's Finale is PEAK out of the 3 disney shows. I enjoy how they fully finalize that they can't see each other again afterwards. With Gravity Falls, while they left the town they would be back next summer as the note said. WIth Owl House, Luz could go back to the human realm AND the demon realm at any time, so she didn't have to give anything up. But for Amphibia, Anne had to say goodbye to her best friend, her frog family, and to Amphibia itself.
This finale is the most Amphibia way to end it: Extremely silly, epic and touching, not all that logical but full of heart. I miss this show every day, but I'm glad I could watch it with you!
Hop-Pop was my favorite, such depth to the dad/grandad meme. My favorite side character was Grime. Best redemption arc/bad guy flip of all time
In my opinion, this ending was way more packed full than gravity falls, and the owl house it ended on a very bitter sweet moment
This finale is one of the best I've seen in any piece of media ever, no exaggeration.

Amphibia's finale means the world to me, it crushes my heart but also makes me feel so reassured.
So much to say about this episode, the girls getting their powers, the fight sequence filled with so much joy and love, it never fails to make me smile. Andrias' finally freeing himself from the chains of his past and even giving a word for word to what Anne said to Sasha in s1. Anne's sacrifice and how well done that whole scene is, Sprig telling her she's his everything breaks my heart, and then the blast playing Amphibia's Greatest Treasure, featuring Anne's theme but with its final note missing, oughhhh the pain that causes me. Anne's death was so shocking when I watched it on release, cause she turned into leafs, and it immediately cut to an ad break, so we were just left sitting with that for like 5 minutes (this was before the TOH finale too so it was crazy), I love Anne's conclusion with Domino 3, it shows just how much she really changed. And the goodbyes oh my god, I don't think a finale has made me cry as hard in a good while, everything about it just destroys me, but I love it, it's so perfect for the message of the show, of accepting change, and understanding that no matter time or distance, the bonds you've made are interconnected with who you are, so you'll always carry eachother with you, the last hug gets me choked up even to this day. And the time skip is just the cherry on top, Wartwood my beloved, how I adore its people, and seeing all of them reach their conclusions in this and the last ep is my everything. And the girls, I have so much to say in general as you can tell, but I could go on for so long about why their paths are a perfect conclusion to their arcs, Anne's and Marcy's especially, love love love it, the whole aquarium thingy hits me so much, especially the "Get lost in Amphibia", wonderful send off.
I Loved your reactions, seeing your journey has been so much fun, I'm so glad you enjoyed the show and its characters the way you did. I'm always a bit nervous watching reactions cause the first season needs so much time for it to pay off. But I'm glad you gave it the time it needed, the laughs, the shock, the tears, it's all been so much fun and I'll definitely keep an eye out for whatever next shows you do next, it's been a pleasure, thank you.

Every time I watch the finale, I cry when Sprig has to say goodbye to Anne.
I’m so glad you stuck with this show, and I’m so glad you understand how the end means so much because of all the rest of the show and the character-building and world-building. Spending fun time with the characters makes the painful moments hit so much!!
The finale destroys us all, honestly.
The adventure ended with a happy ending,it was truly incredible and full of sadness,you are one of the best animations I have ever watched ,amphibian, I will never forget you ,it was very nice ,thank you all for watching this.
you know Marcy still moving away and Sasha and Anne drifting apart overtime and the 3 of them reuniting as adults 10 years later was a surprisingly realistic outcome if you ask me

The letter Leif wrote to Andrias tells me that they were more than just friends I think they loved each other Andrias blushes and looked away during Leifs dance, the secret messages to each other, Andrias the frist to rush to Leif after she fell to her hands and knees after the vission, the worried look on his face, Leif crying into Andrias, Andrias the one that took her betrayl the hardest and his blushing tears in his eyes and scraming her name when she left, and Leif dubbing her self as "your Leif" and her calling him my derest Andrias and saying I wish my love will reach you. Also in the painting Andrias and Leif are looking at eachother and there is a art that Matt Braly did Andrias Berral and Leif are back together and they are on his sholders and Andrias and Leif are looking at eachother.
There was and still is something more than just friendship between Andrias and Leif.
A bit late to the party but im here so thats what counts. Ive been watching pretty much everyones reaction to Amphibia here on youtube. Ive watched this show almost on repeat at this point and every single time I cry. Part of it is the fact that I use to live in California and The Aquarium of the Pacific is a strong memory of mine in dark times. But another part is deeper. Anns story is something I connect to and will always connect to. Every step i take seems like im walking blindfolded on a narrow bridge. Terrifying and detrimental to my health. Every decision i take, i wish i take the other or i think of the what ifs. Ever path I take- I look at the road beside it or and other paths on the map thinking 'why not try this one?' And its gotten to the point where im lost. It sucks.
But seeing Ann figure it out- makes me keep wanting to try. To keep searching for the right path for me. Even if i have to let go of the things i hold dear to get there because shes right. If i let go of something I have room to pick up another and maybe cherish it more than i originally thought.

Don't forget they created a functional portal from the human world to Amphibia. It was a little to small without Anne's powers but it did work. There has been talk about a possible movie where they do go back after the human made portal is improved or possibly a movie that covers more about Andrias and his family and the kings before him. A spinoff covering that new continent Ivy said was just discovered is also possible. Nothing is confirmed but it is entirely possible to bring Amphibia back in a few different ways.

Well, this is the end. If someone felt that there was not enough anime moments and tears to shed in the previous episode than the finale will definitelly fix that problem. Once again, looking back at the first season it's hard to believe that the scruffy one-shoed egoistical Anne would become a noble selfless protector of Amphibia. And yet, glimpses of her heroic nature could be seen right from the first episode and the same is true for Sasha and Marcy too. I can even say that the girls' character development is the strongest part in the whole show and their positive or negative traits do not come from or go to nowhere.
But I also have to mention some not so great (IMO) moments in this great finale. The Stones' secret spell and the multiversal Guardian just came out of nowhere right in the final episode without any foreshadowing (the mumbling of sedated Anne hardly counts as one). That's why I like the previous episode a liiiiiitle more. But anyway, the finale is still amazing and can even be called a model bittersweet ending.
As for the characters, my favorite one is Sasha because she as a character is a really interesting take on the stock "mean school princess" archtype. In contrast with some other characters of the same type she is a good leader and doesn't need to suppress or get rid of her commanding nature to be a genuine friend or a good person. Marcy is the second close (because she is Marcy).
At the end I want to thank you for sharing with us your reaction to this funny show about colorful talking frogs and a scruffy girl!

Actually it's the other way around since the Amphibia finale came out before the TOH finale
Actually, Anne is technicaly dead, (the god only made a copy of her, he didn't resurrect her, and it's not a 100% accurate copy because the missing shoe changed before and after her death so unless the animators made a geniune mistake, the Anne at the end is a copy with the memory of the original).
There are things that could've been done differently with this show, overall, but the finale could not be better. It's just about perfect.
Amphibia for me, was really really annoying for a while. it was one of those shows that was like "Holy...Why are they focusing on this stuff..." That ending is why.
Do I still find some of the things to be annoying? sure. Do I still think it was masterfully done? Oh absolutely.
Amphibia, The Owl House and Gravity Falls represent a golden era of sorts for disney cartoons.
At least for recent disney cartoons.
I'm debating internally if they are better than some of the older ones in the 90s.
I found that those three cartoons restored my faith in western animation and I hope that nothing can kill that faith again.

I'm on season 1 but can't get into it much.. i know season 1 of shows are slow, does it get better? A bigger plot?
It's definitely worth it. I can confirm though, S1 is a bit of a drag, but a lot of the stuff in it does play a role later on. Try to get through it 😅
