    Spectacular...this old rough carpenter is quite envious. Our first little rig doesn't need much more than I can handle. More issues outside than in. Love your enthusiasm and knowledge.

    Awesome slide. Ryobi inpact driver works never has failed me. It is the only tools I buy and use, price friendly. Personally i think it works as well as the expensive ones.

      Haha I have a few ryobi tools. My favorite is my router. I had their circular saw and used it for about a year before i accidentally dropped it and bent it 😂

    For the drill question it sounds like the torque clutch doing it's job. There should be a ring/dial around the chuck with numbers and a drill bit icon. The numbers set the torque limit so you can do more delicate jobs with it without worrying about over tightening.
    Or maybe you got a lemon. Dewalt is usually pretty good quality but it could be a defect.

      Ditto. My thoughts, too.

    • @fallenintocamping

      Yeah it keeps getting stuck between 1 an 2 (basically slow and fast). If I switch it back to slow speed, it will correct itself and then I can move it back to fast. I’ve never had a drill slip like this one has before.

    • @crawroy11
      @crawroy11 Год назад +1

      @@fallenintocamping so it is a lemon. Makes sense it would slip if it is in between speeds/gears.

      I figured that was the case….guess I’ll just have to practice self control and not get angry every time it slips and stops spinning mid screw 😂

    Grate comment about Target!. You never want to use a drill to drive screws, only an impact driver. Its half the size and twice as much torque.

    you need an impact driver, not a drill to do fasteners. And you also need a ventilator to move air in that rv when you're working in there!

    The DeWalt drill needs an XR battery. Stupid but it works with one as it should

    Did they call that couch a "jackknife couch" or something else? Did there turn out to be an issue with the couch and is that why you said you don't shop there? I'm looking for a couch like that for my build and I didn't know regular stores like Target sold such things. I'll have to see if they still sell that type there or at walmart maybe? When I think of target, I forget they sell furniture too!

    Hey you do great work !! I've been wanting to try some graphite paint on a project to see how slick it is. Would be idea for you if you choose to slick that slide up some more. On the drill, if it's adjustable torque and all the way locked up and still slips I'd be disappointed too. God bless

      I’ve had DEWALT drills before and they’ve never done this. My other drills don’t do it either…I’ll have to do a slow motion video of how irritated I get when I’m trying to drive in a 3 inch screw and it slips and stops spinning 🤣

    Good Afternoon,
    Have you ever dealt with leaking rv / horse trailer windows?? I have cleaned the weep holes and tighten the screws. Have you ever taken a window out and put that rv seal on a roll ?
    Thanks in advance.

    • @fallenintocamping
      @fallenintocamping  Год назад

      Yep lots of times! Sometimes horse trailer windows are riveted in, so watch out for that. If not, take the interior screws out (make sure someone is outside to hold the window from falling out). Set the trim piece and screws in a safe place, and take the window out from the outside. Clean the window and the outside edge where the window sits with alcohol. Reapply new window seal (for smooth fiberglass use dicor foam core which is in my Amazon storefront) or if it’s aluminum corrugated siding (wavy) use caulk cord that you can buy a Home Depot. Then put the window back in the same way you took it out 😂

    • @fallenintocamping
      @fallenintocamping  Год назад

      Interesting…it’s not a fancy drill and I’ve owned one exactly like it and never had this problem with the old one. It slips when using it for literally anything, and if I switch it to slow speed and then fast again it works. I think I just got a dud 😂

      Personal preference after the new LQBTQ line came out. As a Christian, and a mom of 3 boys, I drew the line when they started selling bathing suits that were ‘tuck friendly’ for children. The designer of the line is also an open satanist. When I called to cancel my red card (I’ve had it for 8 years…this wasn’t a decision I took lightly), they asked me why I was cancelling, and I said ‘probably for the same reason everyone else is’ and their response was ‘so the new bathing suit line…’
