Imagine a situation at a wedding reception where the bride and groom are getting ready to feed each other the wedding cake in front of the entire crowd, and the bride stops, walks away from the groom and up to a random guy in the crowd, lets him take a bite of the cake, then goes back to the groom so he can finish that bite. That’s basically what happened here.

Found out after 8 years of marriage that my wife had cheated on me multiple times. Confronted her about it. Got told not to take it personally. When I asked "how can I not? It is specifically ME it affects!" she said "no no no, not like that. I mean the cheating.. I've cheated on 7 different guys I've been with before you, and no one lasted 10 years, or bought a house with me or had 2 kids with me! You're the one who worked out good the longest!" like I should be proud.
What I've learned after 2 years of depression and finally 1 year of happy normal life, is don't be a simp. Dump her ass. Once a hoe, always a hoe. They're just different. They lack the empathy. Also, even if you DID give her another chance, and she NEVER did it again, you'd never be 100% sure, and it'd drive you insane before you finally realize that it doesn't matter, because her word doesn't matter, because she's a liar. So just save yourself the agony and waste of time, and just dump her and get on with it. She's not worth you loosing your hair over.
I promise you, there is NO way this relationship has a positive outcome for either of you. God forbid you bring a child into this tension-filled house. It'll seriously never go away. Find someone else.

      @disappointedfather5114 2 года назад +32

Oh no, even if you did give her another chance, she would definitely do it again.
In child psychology, you typically don't want to call out your kid for doing something wrong that you know they likely either won't quit or that isn't necessarily bad enough that needs fixing, because if you do your kid will just get wiser about how to hide it, and you'll lose the ability to know, at the very least, if ever they take that behavior somewhere dangerous. For example, smoking weed. If your kid already smokes in secret and thinks you have no idea, but you know and confront them, they'll still smoke weed with their friends and everywhere else. At least you know they're into drugs, and you can give them a passive talk about heavy drugs without indicating you know about the weed, to hope they don't take the habit a step further. Plus you'll know when they've smoked, if they've potentially quit, etc.
People who cheat are no different. If you catch a cheater, they'll just get wiser about how to do it without getting caught. They were already the kind of person who could cheat with no remorse and "all's well so long as you don't find out." Staying with someone like that is a life sentence to constant mistrust towards them and the inevitable times they cheat again - if you ever find out at all.

The councilor said it is not my fault, it is her problem because of previous relationships. So, at that meeting with the councilor I told my wife, if it happens again. Just tell me you want a divorce because there wont be no forgiveness. 2 years later she cheated again while visiting her sister, and asked for a divorce. This is 2 years after we had 2 kids. Did u not know where women cheat on their man and he tolerates it she loses all respect and arousal for him and will keep cheating then eventually leave u know that right? Ur wife didn’t respect u at all and lost attraction for u sadly man. Also statistically there’s like a 350% ur spouse will cheat again if u forgive the cheating. Hopefully u read this and remember this NEVER tolerate this always respect ur self first. The fact that she was still going to try and weasel her way out of her mess up by passing it off as a misunderstanding and then stating, after she found out her husband had proof of everything, that her sister and friends forced her to cheat. What a despicable woman. She was claiming to take full responsibility of the situation but she was still trying to disassociate herself with what she did. Nobody forced her head down into that guy's lap, and nobody forced her to go home with the other guy. This should be days/weeks before marriage, when love for your partner is at an all time high. If you crack here, you don't stand a chance with married life. They just don't want your friends and family to know they fucked you over, so if they convince you to stick around then the eventual breakup will appear to have been for some other reason (they will try to find or build a narrative that makes it your fault), and they don't want to be seen as undesirable and alone so they want to keep you around while they're actively searching for the person they want to dump you for good over.

She acted like she truly love him, like he is the only thing that mattered to him, begging and stuff, but if she truly love him, why would she go and do that in the first place. Like if it was me, I'm a guy, and my friend just force me to do this as just a joke, but I truly love my wife, I wouldn't even give it a second thought and just leave the party. Like if you want to do it, you have the one you truly love to do it with, why go out of the way to do it with someone else you don't even know, that just proves that you don't entirely love your significant other, and it's just gonna go down from there.

I went to a bachelor party for a colleague from work. It was a pub crawl where the groom was dressed in a striped prisoner costume with a ball and chain. At the end of the night we ended up back at the host's apartment where we all crashed for the night. The next morning the groom comes out of a girl's apartment across the courtyard. He dives into the pool and swims over, bleating like a goat (this was an inside joke of some kind). I was completely disgusted. He's getting married in a few days, and this is how he behaves? I have been married 3 times. NONE of them involved a bachelorette, or a bachelor, party.
Modern women are not making men walk away from dating, no no. They are making men RUN away from dating, at top speed, evading fire, and taking cover. Every now and then I speak w/teenagers, or young men in their 20's. They seem to have the idea that oh yes, prenuptial agreements stand up in court, they aren't the 50 meter target on the firing range- for women- the target nobody misses. When I was young, I got older guys, and even women, talking- to learn. I knew I was totally ignorant, and needed to learn. The veterans often had great wisdom, and were willing to share it, with someone who listened. The wedding stores in my area have all gone out of business... if that's not an indicator of issues, I don't know what is. Many women seem to be honors graduates with a BSC degree: Bat Sh*t Crazy.
There ARE no soulmates, any more than there is a Santa Claus, or Easter Bunny. There may be compatible ladies, guys, whose minds and hearts aren't totally toxic, but all relationships are imperfect. It's just the way our world is. We live in a world where:
Body count is something to boast about. Milage on a car doesn't matter. Rain does not wet the ground. Fish fly a mile high over the ocean. Fast food is nutritious. Poisoning one's soul with hatred and resentment makes a woman far more attractive to the alpha male she wants. Adorning one's body with toxic cosmetics doesn't poison the liver and kidneys. Pouring out hatred and resentment on men makes them want women. Hallmark movies, Soap operas, romance movies, Disney heroines- are all documentaries of how the world works. Yes, Virginia, there really is a Santa Claus, and 20 years of throwing away your value absolutely gets you Mr. Big, just like it happened in Sex and the City, which is also a documentary.
But let's make a comparison. Let's imagine a rabid Wolverine, so violent that it has to be caged in a cage made of logs. Would you risk your life, to be around such a creature? Maybe not. I don't play with poisonous snakes. When I was young, I was allowed to play with tiger kittens, but even then, I had no idea to be in the same space as adult tigers. Yes, lady, there are creepy people out there, and you are among them.
The Romans used to line the Appian way with the bodies of crucified men, as an object lesson. Divorce courts perform the same function, in our society.

At first I thought the guy might’ve overreacted, but as it played out, definitely not. She lied and lied again, and I agree with the host here that if she and all her crew are acting like this before the wedding even starts, what kind of marriage is that gonna be?

Yeah it would be so sketchy. Like after that, how could you possibly trust that person again and look at them the same way? I agree at first it sounded like an overreaction but then as I heard more and thought about it, it's best to move on

Every man 18 on up needs to spend a day in divorce court, when they have contested cases. This should be a requirement for guys graduating high school. I wish I'd done this when I was 18.

Xander - I don't get those types of bach/bach-ette parties. What's the point? Watch some naked person of the opposite sex offer to help you cheat while your friends cheer you on? Is that the only way you know how to A. have fun, and B. celebrate the end of singleness? Gotta be a better way.

Bachelor/bachelortte parties are some scary shit. I been to a few bachelor parties and nothing too extreme ever happened, just the bachelor getting spanked by a stripper with his own Belt and tons of lapdances but some stories I've heard makes this event here sound PG-13.

I hate how everyone was saying “everything can be fixed” or “we can move forward from this” like there’s no moving forward from this cheating messes things up and can’t be fixed after that.

God only knows how many times something like this has happened at a bachelorette party and been kept a secret.
I just love how she calls it a “mistake”. Blowing one guy and actually going home with another. Some mistake.

If she betrayed you once she will do it angain. Specially considering how much the run from the responsability when confronted and them how she proceeded to suicide threads.
