JBo Airbrush hi man, big fan of your work. I do have a question. What is the white paper your using to transfer the images? I only ever see dark graphite paper to use to transfer images. But it looks like your drawing right through this paper to put down the images? Thanks a lot.
@@Mark-ij5mp Whoa this message got missed by me sorry about that!! So its paper with pencil scribbled on the other side, I have a video basically explaining it...
Why do you not have more subs…. You are by far the best airbrush artist on RUclips, love your custom shoe vids as well. I wish I had a tenth of your skill! Keep it up pal
Amazing as always Bo! Thank you for explaining every detail and your recommendations ,that help push ourselves to do better and better every day! Thank you again!
Yeah I only did that once on my 'How To Paint Shoes Like A Pro' vid. Definitely will try and do this moving forward I can see that being helpful. Truth is I generally just film myself painting and the tutorials are an afterthought, so I'll have to go out of my to do a tutorial about that, but I will definitely make a note of it. Thanks for the suggestion brother!!
Hey Jordan, Love your videos and your masks you've done. What clear coat products do you use for the goalie masks? and any step by step directioons youn can offer that younuse when putting down clear? thanks in advance!
Excellent artistry. For the fur details in the lion and rabbit, is your approach simply painting exactly what you see in every little detail or more/less simplying the impressions/shapes till you achieve the feel and look of fur? I can imagine how time intensive the details are. Thanks for sharing.
Aqui estou eu mais uma vez impressionado com seu talento para pintura, cada trabalho seu você se supera, o dom que você tem é invejável. Um grande abraço do seu novo amigo do outro lado do mundo (Brasil).
Yes that absolutely will happen, but may be a bit as I have a lot of other vids in my line up as well as ones that I've already filmed, but will 100 % be doing that eventually!!
Thank you, well I don't really think so, I only sand the clear coat that is already on the helmet and then paint to that, so I would guess that the paint shouldn't do much more than the gel coat / paint job that already is put on the helmet by the manufacturer.
Hi JBo! Your art is so inspiring! I hand paint custom helmets and I want to get into airbrushing! I apologize in advance for all my questions...What do you put each of your mixed colors in? And do you need to cover them somehow to keep them from drying out over the course of the painting? Also, what kind of thinner are you using? I’m assuming you just know from experience how much you need to thin the paint?
Heyo! Kk so I buy these little 1 oz and 3 oz plastic cups that just happen to be thinner proof, I'm not at my shop so I don't know the make of em right now. and then I just line them up and run a line of tape over the top as a "lid" to protect them from drying out. BUT!... I find with urethane paint even if it dries out I just add reducer back to it again and it seems to come right back to life and sprays like normal. Currently I'm using Proform reducer. Yeah I reduce by feel but I reduce A LOT!! If you are getting tip build just add more reducer, and if that's starting to spiderweb 'cause you think it's too thin try turning your air pressure down and/or pulling back less on the trigger. Good Luck!!
No you aren't missing anything, I haven't done the primer one yet, I just said it like that so I can add the link when the video is finished, for now just the prep one is up. Prime and base coat one will be coming tho, sorry about the delay!!
I've now been using Custom Paints Inc which ship worldwide and sell smaller bottles for airbrush which are priced well, check them out! usa.specialistpaints.com/
Thanks for watching guys lemme know if you have any questions!!

What paint do you use and what pressure do you use, thanks and greetings
I use urethane base coat, brand I'm using now is Custom Paints Inc. and I spray generally around 15-20 psi, adjusting for detail.
