With all the previous Blitz "How To" videos out there, this was the first time I have seen someone talk about using team power to manipulate opponent selections. Thank you very much for covering that Valley. I have been using this strategy for awhile and always wondered why it was never brought up.
I still dont understand how it works. Should you start with weak chars to face weak enemies?
I’ve noticed before how the teams stay the same even when switching teams sometimes. I never considered using that as an option to score more points. That is an awesome suggestion. Cool vid as always. 👍🏼👊🏼🇺🇸

I can't afford to spend more than $50.00 a year on MSF, so Blitz is easily my favorite game mode. It's often the only way that I can reliably unlock new characters (my luck in orbs is non-existent). Plus... it's just fun. I get to experiment with new characters, team combinations, and strategies. All without the consequence of letting my alliance mates down.
I'm the exact opposite I've spent maybe $3500 over the last 2 years and I still am shooting for top 2000 on character blitzes for guys I don't have
Kevin M McDougal I have an honest question for you and have to ask but how are you gonna feel when the game becomes unsupported or shut down granted that will prob be a long time with the amount of money they are making. I’m just curious cause I have never seen anyone comment on anything saying they have spent as much as you. Just was curious when I saw your comment.
@@dwaynedwibbley6238 people spend way more than he does lol. It's still a lot of money and I never spend at all on it except maybe 20 bucks over 2 years now but this one guy who is on one of the top Alliances and is a top 100 player in the world showed his spending history and it was 22k in 2years. He said him and his buddies spend about 1000 dollars a month.
dswmetals02 I figured there people out there that spent more and those numbers are just insane. I’m guilty of it like I have spent money in this and a couple hundred in hearthstone and it gets to the point like I’m just throwing my money away as at some point the game will eventually run it’s course.

I use Ultron with weak teans, like HAND, Mercenary, Hidra. You spend just ultron energy and have 2 or 3 new teans to play in tier 8.3. Its help a lot. Lipetp from Brazil.

How to dominate blitz:
- Have many teams
- Play like a maniac for three days straight
If either of these is not possible, just do the milestones. In the end, having 10-30 extra shards for a character will make absolutely no difference whatsoever, so for the lower tiers your return on investment is horrible.

Hey Valley, absolutely love this video. I’m 509 days FTP and I always think about making videos like this. I also make my saved squads based on Blitz, I order them in order of team power, and I reset them based on actual winnable teams in round 8.

So helpful! I started doing this recently (now that I have enough workable teams) and most of my them are auto or almost auto. Same experience with SHIELD & Wakanda being dicey though.

I'm more so one of those indifferent to blitz. I'll go harder when I think the toon is worth it, but most the time I'm just a milestone and quit lol.
I'm sitting at 5m in blitz right now. I'm getting about 1m per run through at 8.3, pretty sure I'll hit my highest total this time around.
One thing I don't think I saw you mention, similar to mixed powered teams. While the power doesn't seem to make much difference anymore, as long as it's not your key toons... Like you mentioned with your punfenders. I do find teams with high RS can really break your team so I use those teams very specifically.
Example : my power armor at 269k overall has a 6 RS war machine at 73k and my vision is 6 RS at like 60k. Yes wm is deadly unless he's facing 7 RS toons. So I have a couple of other teams around the same power that I pick first, whether I use them or not, so then when I pick my pa they'll get the match up my other team had. And that's not gonna have any 7 RS enemies on it. So an easier matchup it will be for my power armor.
Also avoid high powered hulk at all times lol.

Farely new player about 250 days in and what I do is in teir 1 I get out all of my big teams might not work for valley lol but I only have 3 or 4 good teams and then while I wait the 2 hrs I start at the bottom the low guys have no prob on tier 2 till like 5 or 6

I just started playing this year and I want to know one thing. Is there a specific range to get more than 15 shards from Blitz?
At first, just try and hit all the milestones.
Then start pushing for the next rank rewards.
Top 10% should be pretty reasonable after playing for a while.
Best advice to repeat,is to change teams after EACH match so that you conserve your Blitz cores, at least until you get in the 8-8.3 range and you want to use teams that can successfully "punch up" on stronger opponents.
i just don't understand what you mean by blitz rotations? How long does it take for a team to recharge meaning that the cost is back to 0 from 25? Is 500 the max amount of charges?
500 is the max and the cooldowns reset every 2 hours
There is a timer on each character who has a cost from being used previously in blitz. It resets after each match with them.
Yes 500 is the max unless they give to you as a bonus reward in your game email. Also if u look close at your characters while in Blitz it'll show how much time on the timer of the two hours that's left before you get to use them again without costing Blitz energy
One strategy i use is to have an unevenly overpowered black panther for my wakanda as the AI will set me up with another unevenly powered team. Then i just abuse them by using my BP. But this also means i have to play manual

Thanks for this, one question: Why would you intentionally lose blitz? What do you gain by dropping down?
You drop down to make sure you get the most out of your teams. I stay in 7 because my teams aren't punching up high enough against meta teams to consistently get through 8 without losing a match and therefore wasting energy. I get to 8 then throw in a dummy team or 2 to drop to 7 again then battle up to 8 again. Gets me the most points with the least energy spent. Otherwise I risk my team losing and me not getting any points and still dropping if I dont retreat. I also use trash teams to get through 1, 2 and 3 so I can save my good teams for higher multipliers without running up their energy cost.
@@TheSavageThanos Dropping down doesnt have a penalty? I'm semi new, just hit 180 day login achievement and account level 71. I don't understand what you mean by 'getting the most out of your teams'. Isnt lowering a tier bad?
@@mleet3125 Its bad if you can still win in your current tier. But if you cant beat the teams in your tier you drop 1 tier to fight easier opponents and get more points to add to your overall points scored. If you fight and lose against a team in your current tier you lose an attack and you drop a tier without getting any points at all. Your rank is based on points not tiers so you dont want to risk wasting an attack and not getting points for it so you use a garbage team to drop 1 tier so you can keep gaining points with your higher level teams. Once you get to 6 or 7 you pretty much have to use meta teams to win and certain metas punch up better against others. You want to use free attacks asap and I dont spend energy below 6 at all because if I have to spend energy I want it to be with a higher multiplier for my stronger teams.
I’ve been playing MSF since the global launch and despite watching dozens of videos on Blitz I’m still clueless as to how to maximize my score. This video is no different.
I would like to see someone make a Blitz video in real time (edited of course) showing the team power they start with and when they decide to switch to higher power teams to maximize points based on the multiplier.
I totally understand team compositions and counter teams, but I never surpass the 11-25% bracket in Blitz and I don’t know if it’s due to my teams generally being less powerful than other players or if I don’t understand how the tier scoring works in Blitz.
It’s honestly the most frustrating aspect of MSF and as a player who is experienced in MCOC and MFF who managed to thrive I wish there was some explanation of MSF Blitz that made sense to me.
Maybe you should find a different game if you still dont get it, they have millions of simpleton games though would probably suit you better
it does not matter the team power u used to get from 1 to 8.3. however u get to fight the highest amount of team power vs your own at 8.3, the team power u fight dictates what u get in points x multiplier.
Wathched a video of MobileGamer and Valley racing to 400k blitz points on Red Star Blitz and finally understood what I was doing wrong. I’ve managed to place in higher brackets ever since. Funny how a video that wasn’t intended to help my blitz score was more informative than some of these other videos... and the reason it helped is exactly what I asked for in my original post... to see people playing blitz in real time...
I just look at the generated opponent. If I use my 20k mordo with my 8k supernatural squad I just make sure the 20k toon it generated is a controller or attacker I can easily control. I try not to go up against high level tanks usually in these instances, or if it loads say a 20k Cpt Marvel I'll steer away from that aswell.
If I can get to Tier 5, I'm doing good. That's because I have a small roster (an obsolete meta team from 1.5 years ago is my strongest squad at 175K power). So many times, the last fight of T4 may kick my bottom.
When you don't expect to win with the high power team that you want to use, lose on purpose with a baby team. That will reset the multiplier to 5.0 instead of 5.3 or whatever tier you are on. Then fight with your good teams again. Rinse repeat
my best team is 73k i have 2 over 30k then 3 that are 20k and then 4 or 5 teams thta are below 20k so i play alot but i dont get very far i got 15 corvus shards tho i played like a crazy person set alarms ect.
Pro tip. Completely wipe out any saved teams you have specifically for weird oddball Blitz reason team comps such as hulk with ultron etc.
I recently redid my entire saved teamsto only include synergistic factions because there are enough faction specific synergies in the game now that are very strong such as kree, aim, wakanda, asgardians, mauraders, xmen, shield etc etc etc. You can fill out all of these saved teams with one or two of your favorite raid teams in the rest being synergistic factions.most of them are actually capable of winning on 8.3 as long as you use a garbage team once in awhile to reset the difficulty to an even 8.0 if you want to use good strategy to maximize points.
the early days of the game required us to be creative when we didn't have enough characters for full factions but those days are long gone. The benefit of saving the teams with faction specific in mind is that they don't overlap with other teams because they each have their own squad and place. Helps keep the list using the best available synergistic teams that you can usually mostly use on raids as well or Wars.
Currently on Siff I'm over 6 million while posting this in a little over 24 hours. Believe me these tips work. ;)
Not sure if this is silly question but new player here. When we collect Gamora, Rocket, Mantis, Drax and Groot to 5 Gold stars do we automatically get unlocked Star Lord as hero in our Roster?
Dusan Dule you do not simply receive the character sadly! You have to compete in a specific battle for that character which factors in gear & abilities
@@MatthewMaley1220 Thanks mate. And when is that battle happening? Immediately after you collect 5 star Guardians or it's like Blitz Event?
@@xXxDusanxXx1 It's the Star Lord Event that occurs every now and then.
Dusan Dule for any of the legendary characters they rotate the events, usually having one legendary event a month. Since SL was about a month ago and fury is up next, I would assume the next SL event won’t be for a couple months which should give you enough time to build up your guardians for him! He is a great character and deff helped a lot getting Ultron!

I hate, hate blitz only character recruitment. They make it almost impossible for the casual player to pick up that character. However the Orb blitz are definitely worth it.

From latest YoYo blits, top player got 52.5 million points! Over 8 million collection power, strongest team over 500k. Guy in 100th place has over 5 mil total collection. Me on the other hand 1 million collection power, strongest team 140k. How am I supposed to compete with them and do well in blitz
Just do Milestones mate... you cannot effectively compete in Blitz at your shard at your level.
Don't forget to have each team at 500k power

How to score better in Blitz never sleep
Blitz is busy work.
Your synergy is horrible, except your X-men and shield team. Why do you have Brotherhood with Sinister?
To get favorable matches, do the following.
- Switch into teams that are within 10% of original team so you can fight same opponent, but better likelihood of winning - win!
- at 8.3, enemy are based on your stars and your red stars, 1 more than you. So if you have a few 3/4rs, 3/4ys toon that is 50k, make a fake team of them(must be 10% less or more than original team for game to display new enemy), then switch in your real team - win!
