After wandering around the forest, it stopped in it's tracks. It's ears picked up noises from the distance, the soft crunches made under the feet of little creatures. There was emptiness in the atmosphere, there was no wind to fill it; Just the little snow droplets gently coating the cold ground. The white blanket covered the whole land. It's fur coat had turned white because of the snow pelting on it. The wolf breathed out into the crisp fresh air, and it continued to walk on...

Tolles gefühlvolles Stück, es klingt nach Einsamkeit, ist etwas melancholisch und doch driftet es nicht allzu tief in das Traurige ab, es kommt immer Hoffnung und Zufriedenheit hervor. Das Bild gefällt mir auch unglaublich gut!

I feel restlessness in this pace of this song. The same kind I feel myself. I can even describe what I'm trying to outrun, and I don't know why I feel like I have to keep moving, and pacing and worrying and avoiding and going away, even when those who love me want me to stay.
It's a tough thing to not feel at home in your own body, it's a tough thing to put those that care about you through that too...

Fantastic piece, Joachim. In many ways, I find myself imagining a forest from the perspective of a wolf than seeing the wolf itself. Really enjoyed this. And I especially liked that you were not scared to leave pauses between the piano notes - the spaces between them created atmosphere.
