I made like 10 of these for a little mother's day bouquet- and I have to say they are soo beautiful!! It was a challenge but they turned out really well :). Thank you for the tutorial.

Yo ya sabia hacer la rosa de papel y solo vi tu video para ver si lo hacias de la misma forma que yo y la verdad es que son los mismos dobleces que yo hago pero la forma en la que los haces son diferentes de la mis , ademas ese detalle que haces con la pinza me parecio algo curioso me llamo la atención los ultimos dobleces que le haces al final tambien los hago y le dan una vibra mas realista a la rosa. Por lo demas si me dejaste muy impresionada la verdad yo no sabia hacer las hojas ni mucho menos esa base que le hiciste de 5 extremos para la rosa eso me dejo bastante impresionada y la forma en la que ensamblaste todas las piezas para que parezca uno solo me gusto mucho la verdad. Bueno en sintesis diria que me gusto mucho tu video y ya soy una suscriptora mas que ama tu trabajo es impresionante lo que haces. Edit: Lots of people were struggling to the folds but it's really easy (try to canvas using scratch paper I tried with a lot of different kinds of paper until I am ready to do the final product and now I can finally make paper flower bouquet ickk, I also did a few improvize in some parts can't blame everyone in the comments loll)
please do it slowly next time. if this is a tutorial video, please keep in mind that you will not be the only one doing this; many will replicate it as well, so doing it slower would be very helpful. great origami, by the way, it looks like a real rose!
When you try to do 4:20 but your hand is too small for you to fold the paper properly or for your thumb to reach the center of the paper 😢 It's a pain but I'll keep going and try to improvise 😤 i swear despite my small hands imma make this bootiful flower even if it gives me hand cramps.

I tried it and it looked nothing like the white rose 😂. It did become a rose but the twirly part in the inside is the hardest thing ever. If you ever want to do this try using a thin paper, I think it would make a huge difference. Enjoy... 🌹
i gave up at 5min, for some reason my rose was mirrored so I had to follow the instructions in a mirrored way and it was just to hard to do, I couln't figure out on step that was done at 6:07 I really did not want to give up since I came that far but I just couldn't figure out how to do it
Heads up, if you’re folding this with one sided color paper, fold with the color side facing up. I made this with black paper and ended up with a white rose instead 😵💫
a bit late of a reply but maybe you can find some use in it anyway.... practice making cranes, they have VERY similar folds and are easy to memorize and practice wherever you are. slightly off topic, look into senbazuru also, if you make that a target and achieve it then I'm pretty confident by the time you reach 10% of your first senbazuru you would have mastered those folds and can literally do them with your eyes closed and not even thinking about it. I'm considering starting my third senbazuru but finding and getting all the paper can be a bit of a challenge on its own...
If this video was supposed to be a "tutorial video", it sucks so bad. You are doing the origami so fast without giving any clear instructions, some of the foldings are almost impossible to see clearly because you turn the paper up and down and side to side jumping it's really confusing. Nice video to watch the origami come alive, but using this video to copy it- USELESS.
It would have been very helpful just for the tutorial purposes to see this done with a piece of paper with a different colour on the other side. Having it white on both sides makes it very difficult to see the folds properly in the video...
that darn calyx is such a pain, I've watched this tutorial just for the calyx, and I've made just about a dozen of them and they all ended up looking off (still cool lookin tho with the rest of the flower)

How did you manage to get the calyx down? Ive tried so many times but I cant get the third fold down, is the paper size they are using not 10x10?
The paper size for the calyx is 15x15! You can go a little smaller I think, but not 10x10

what sorts of paper did you use? Varying thicknesses can give interesting/ -frustrating- results :3
