2024 Canada Day Fireworks in Campbell River, BC

The Fireworks Finale of the 2024 Canada Day celebrations in Campbell River, British Columbia. The event has been a city staple for decades and this year the display was billed as the largest in the entire province (not bad for a small city of under 40,000 people). The event is sponsored by Quality Foods, a Vancouver Island grocery chain.
The pyrotechnics are lauched from a barge anchored in Discovery Passage just off the city's central waterfront. The land in the background of the video is Quadra Island.
