My biggest problem with etsy is that it completely lost control over handmade vs mass production. Also the lack of proper verification of truly handmade by the seller process. I also don't like the fact that anyone from outside the US can sell often under cutting prices.
Thank you for your clarification of what has happened to Etsy. It has been disconcerting over the years to see Etsy change, though. It had a nice, homemade feel. Now, it has a corporate feel, along with charging more fees to its makers.
Goimagine sounds fantastic! I am very interested in joining, however, my concern is SELLER and BUYER PROTECTION. It doesn't appear that this company doesn't offer this as EBAY and ETSY does. I have gone through the Terms and Conditions and it appears that in most cases Goimagine cannot assist with fraud, scammers, damages, feuds, etc... I don't feel that there is protection for both sellers and buyers.
Hello, is there any software integration for goimagine, for print-on-demand sellers? I'm talking about printify or printful. It will be a big help. Thank you!
I was happy to find Go Imagine and I am glad I went through with signing up. I am in the process of adding more things to my shop. What I am really glad about is finding a place that has a social conscious as well as staying true to handmade. I really believe a company can be about that handmade life and still make money. The fact that profits will be going to assist organizations that are working to do good, is an added benefit. I wish you every good blessing and look forward to being on your platform.
I was happy to find GoImagine too. Thank you so much for this information. To big doesn't mean better. Please don't chage we love being part of this community.
