Certainly is Marc a little outlay in buying the plant, but once propagated the price is no comparison once you have so many plants. Plus they look great 👍
Now is the time to get them. Propagate them. Then plant them out. Night time temps good, warm ish 20+°C in the day, a little rain the coleus will love these conditions to grow away strong, thanks for commenting Peter 👍
I always put the jars on a window sill in the kitchen, kitchen temp at moment inside is always 19+°C only took 2 weeks 2 get roots as you seen in the video
Hi, I use John Innes No2 potting soil 2/3 - 1/3 perlite for my root cuttings I take. If it just things like grasses or separating plants, bananas etc I use normal cheap multi purpura compost sieved to get the big lumps out. Hope this helps
@@mattsuktropicalgarden WOW! at last I have a answer 🙏 I’ve been searching for months , so johns no 2 and perlite you used to grow those abbey roads rooted cuttings in 👍 am I correct in that 👍 so johns no 2 must be well draining then ? Cos your abbey road cuttings/ rootings looked fab !
Looking really good. Great growth and such a lovely variety of coleus.
This is my favourite coloured coleus. The colours just pop. Really like being on my patio but slugs are eating them up in the borders
Great vid Matt, great way to save money 👍

@@mattsuktropicalgarden Did you leave them outside in the jars of water, or did you have them indoors to root?
