I think this is one of my favorites from hscc. I love the disco songs they do. Heck, i love all the original songs they do. Outstanding taste and range in choices to cover. Still waiting for that one song that makes me say "yuck, why did they do that song?" Lol. Keep rocking it guys!!!

What happened to their normal keyboard player (Darren)? Haven't seen him in a while?
There was a "parting of the ways" as it's called. Very little information has been made public. Darren and Con (the bass player) founded HSCC together in 2017.

I can honestly say with this sound engineering sound mix for this video, it's the closest exact sound i've heard to how music used to sound on the radio and on records in the 70s and 80s. This is the sound I grew up on. This is the crisp analog sound that existed before music began to be compressed to hell in the 90s and beyond. You all did it perfectly. Cheers from New York City !!!!

Listen and watch also from germany. There just isnt a band around today, that can even come close to these. Touring for them would just be too much. They would have to fill the Olympic Stadium here in Berlin to make the logistics of a tour worthwhile. Luckily we can see this brilliant band on here

That's a lie! I know the members of Sister Sledge and this cover is dribble compare to the original. Im a sound engineer and its funny playing in a studio and playing live. This band really isnt that good live!!!!!. Their presentation isnt all that good also. Behead 3 live chickens and the chickens jumping around are about as cordinated as the female moving around.

@@DavidAllen-dj7sd Well I went to see Sister Sledge 'Live' in a big open air concert in the UK (at the Whitbread Hop Farm, Paddock Wood, Kent) some years ago and the sound engineer, who supplied the PA and staging through his business, was a friend of mine. I can tell you now, THEY WERE LIP SYNCING TO A RECORDED BACKING TRACK. You are just being a conceited prick because you say you 'know them.' The real proof of the pudding, my friend, is whether the public like what this band do. Check out their number of subscribers, and their views. You are entitled to your opinion but you can't tell people not to like it because your view is that it's garbage. We don't agree. Accept it.
I'm 58 & Sister Sledge are legendary for me. It's great to see talented young folk do justice to the legend.

This is awesome! It really got me on my feet! If there are some suggestions I can make - please increase the number of camera angles (they weren't many) and pan a bit more. It'd also be nice to have more close-ups of each member of the band (especially your gorgeous singers!). These would really improve the visual experience (?). Thank you and keep up the great work!!
I might be from the World Of Classic Rock but man I love a good disco beat. Excellent arrangement, the harmonies by the solos and harmonies by the ladies were a great blend. The Band, a “mic drop” as usual…Thanks

This song stands or falls with the bass of Bernard Edwards and the lead of Nile Rodgers. As a huge Chic-connoisseur I can assure you that I’ll put Constantine next to Jerry Barnes any day of the week! This “Edwards touch” is so difficult to replicate that not many dare to take on the challenge! But again, this is a great band that brings music in a respectful way. And with a “joie de vivre”! So, I’ll throw you guys a challenge. Make your version of “I want your love” by Chic for end November! You have every resource available “in house” (band, horns, fantastic ladies, etc..). Go for it and good luck!

This is definitely one of HSCC's best arrangements by far-Con-you nailed it-this bass line is one not often replicated-kudos to Cam and George for taking on the guitar leads-well done gents-up front on the vocals with Pina, Kat and Lesley was perfection-all of the musicians in this band are simply amazing!

Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers sent the 70s out with a bang! They (Chic) were the peak of the disco sound. Nobody else could top them! And then after this, the party was basically over! This is one of the most fun rhythms ever!

It is staggering how these guys can deliver top class, quality stuff like this EVERY WEEK - that's 52 totally professionally created and production quality mixed songs a year! Think about it! Our mega millionaire 'pop stars' of today manage to knock out one, maybe two top hits each year. HSCC's work load is HUGE in comparison. Well done everybody for yet another entertaining performance!
Or, and not dissing them at all, they rock, maybe it is a bit easier when you do not actually have to write the song?
Totally agree..and we all need to remember this is not their fulltime job! It's a collective of musos who come in and out of the group, as time permits, and provide all of this first class entertainment to us free of charge. It's extraordinarily generous given the logistical problems of the last year.
I hope they really know how much they've helped so many throughout Covid. Wish all of them well in their individual careers.
As a Mix Engineer. I am going to say that while there is some advantage in singing established songs, the delivering of great results (like this) is more down to simply knowing how music really works. These people can obviously play music far more than "do stuff in a DAW". When I get material of this quality, the mix is a joy to do as everything is where it belongs. This not only makes it faster to deliver (not wasting time trying to decipher & cover poor decisions) but the final product is tight & smooth (powerful or brutal if appropriate) in ways that unskilled people will not deliver no matter how many Tuts they watch on how to do some technical thing.

A primeira vez que ouvi essa música foi em 1980, quando estava servindo o quartel! Hoje tenho 60 anos e continuo curtindo as músicas da Sister Sledge, grupo Chic, Bee Gees, Donna Summer, grupo Sky, One Way, Earth, Wind and Fire e muitos outros! São musicas inesquecíveis e pra vida toda!
