Sir enteric coated tablet dissolve in the intestine but Non enteric coated tablet can dissolve in the stomach?
If it is film coated it will disintegrate in stomach... Also it's resident time in stomach is important....

Can you cut film coating tablet in half?
If we cut film coated tablet.. it will not give desired outcome for which tablet is coated.

@@kobbycoded4475 if drug or tablet is film coated, there is a reason behind that. If you break it, the cause of its film coating become vain. So don't braek tablet in half. It should be swallow as full tablet.

@@kobbycoded4475 If the tablet is scored, it means that making it half doesn't affect the cause of film coating. In this case you can make it to half.
