Found out this morning that our water heater wasn’t working when Momma took a shower; she was t happy. Tried several times to relight pilot light and nothing. Your video saved me a call to a plumber 🤑🤑🤑. Reset button worked! Also turned it down from “ A” to “Hot” as recommended in another video which hopefully will prevent it from kicking off again. Many thanks! 🙏🏻 😊

This is the first Whirlpool blinking light "solution" that actually worked. I spent an entire DAY re-lighting my pilot light only to have it default to 4 blinks every 3 seconds. After watching YOUR videos I kept the water set on "HOT." And the problem is now SOLVED!!!! I can't thank you enough!!!!!! You saved my family of more cold showers.
    THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!

Melissa Payne My plumber (real honest guy) showed me the little button to push to reset. I thought the darn thing was done since it would not light. It cost me his service fee only. Still have the heater. It goes out from time to time and I can just do as he showed me. First plumber said I needed a new hot water heater (before he even looked at it 🤔 ). He even yelled at me and my husband got pretty upset about that. The guy looked like a dirt bag. I told him I wasn’t going to pay him and I told him he was dishonest. I even called his boss. Some are dishonest, some lazy, and some are just awesome and trustworthy. This is all too common with people ripping you off. I do believe some techs think they can convince us (women especially) their decisions are set in stone.

Thank you for showing the button.

Searched web for thermocouple replacements thinking that might have been the problem until you pointed out that little reset switch. My pilot light would Not light all afternoon, until I hit the reset button which pressed in one time, after that the button does not press in, answer was obvious, if it does not push in then it does not need resetting, it pushes in only when it needs resetting. Thank You, You have save me a lot of money. My insurance just required me to install a new roof, so I do not have money for hot water heater repairman. My hot water heater is only 6 years old & the warranty ends at 6 years old. A coincidence that button needs pressing at the end of the warranty, hghhh.
