I know absolutely nothing about graders, but it’s so satisfying to watch a grader machine doing it’s thing! Cool machines!

I run the straight edges in the summer grading oilfield roads. Like the video said you keep the blade rolled back and its does the work for you. Super easy to pull ditches and cut hard pack for the material you need and you can shift the blades around to make them wear evenly. The 300 ones are great in the winter. Just use float and they cut the ice beautifully

    *GREAT IDEA!*
I would dare to guess that the guy that invented them has spent a good part of his life on a grader.

Cross pein hammer. Sometimes called a blacksmith's hammer. flat face on one side and a cross pein on the other. Looks like about a 4lb (1800 grams) hammer in the video.

Grade a forest road full of boulders... then let me see it! I'll have it wrapped around the back of the mouldboard.

I have run a 140h and a 163h on state forest roads in north west Oregon too know that these blades most likely will not last very long at all. We change cutting edges once a year on the two graders at work.

not good on pit run or logging roads. Have bent a few. But great on compact snow /ice and first cut in spring on regular gravel roads. . Then back to standard heavy straights.

Or you can save there lives by using a normal fuckin blade and remove all the damn ice and snow and not just a layer like your shit video shows.
