#10 Angel Wing Pour Challenge from

- Join me in creating one of my first Angel Wing Pours. This was a challenge from @NateBrightArt as part of his Art Lab Membership.
My colors are a custom grey base paint made from recycled paints that I have strained to remove any foreign materials, Amsterdam Perm Red Violet, Amsterdam Titanium White mixed with Amsterdam White Pearl.
Paints are mixed roughly 1 part paint to 3 parts floetrol with a squirt of GAC 800 for good measure. I let my mixture sit for one to two days before using in an effort to disperse bubbles.

Hi Amy. Love your work ❤️. In the Angel pour, how high is the canvass elevated…….and do you pour on to a liquid base ? Thank you
Thanks!! In that one I elevated it 3 inches. You can go higher…the paint just flows faster. And yes, I pour a base coat down first. It’s thinner than the pour paints.
I love this!! And I love the way you explain what your process is. Can you tell me what order you placed your paints. Itlooks like a 5 split cup and looks like you have the grey in the middle. But I cant tell exactly haw you did the white and red. Is the red in the outer splits and then the white between the red and grey? Or do you have the red and white together in each outer split. TIA.
Sorry for the late response...let me see if I can remember. Base color is always in middle. So from the middle out I went neutral gray in middle chamber then white, then red violet. Hope this helps if it's not too late!

There are several apps you can use. Art Room, Art Stage etc. And you have to start somewhere.
Do you ever torch to get rid of your bubbles
I do yes. Sometimes I avoid it because I am not wanting any other reactions. Bubbles make me crazy!
