Hi. Thanks for stopping by. The roof is connected to the drivers door actuator. I would start there. Make sure its the same as the one it came with if replacing it. (Make sure that you have the right one in your car first.) Let us know how it goes.
this car is a nightmare I have the exact same car same year only 75k miles on it all the internal plastics are cracked taken me 6 months to strip interior out jb weld is my friend door cards are in excess 1k used !! just the trans hard shift non working roof drivers window regulator ac fan module to do ......... also swopped out drivers door lock assk and both electric window motors.
WOW !! Sounds as though you are going through it one this car. Find used parts that are better than the ones that you have. And then if needed spray them or wrap them. Is your car Manual or auto? The drivers window is giving you trouble ? My guess is the regulator. Hope some of this helps. Let us know. The more info we can stock pill the better we all can work on these cars....that we....Love !?!? LOL.

Is your car Manual or auto?
The drivers window is giving you trouble ? My guess is the regulator.
