That pregame check-in with your opponent is great for you, but also great for your opponent! Nobody wants their boardstate to be challenged and having both players on the same page is so reassuring, especially for those opponents who are maybe a little on the reserved side and wouldn't speak first but still care about the game.
Love your videos, thanks for the work you're putting into this content! Could you do a video on your method for note taking during a tournament? What things do you write down and do you have a specific "format" for how you take notes?
My goal is to not get too caught up in letting my opponents units live and swing at base more often. Many opponents tell me I could have closed games quicker, but it never occurs to me until after the match ends.
Thanks for the vid- can you clarify for someone who's newer to TCGs what exactly you are doing with that second token that is marking your hand somehow?
Because players can be confused by hand vs resources. It's a good methodology. If you pick up your resources, to look for a possible smuggle, while your cards are in your hand, it is highly likely I'm calling a judge. Not saying you cheated, but its bad form and you could have cheated.
If you see a deck you didnt plan for...dont freak out. If you lose game 1 of 3, dont freak out. Its just a game and the set 2 prize cards are meh, dont freak out.
Great video. I love this type of advice because it's applicable to far more than just the game we play
Glad you enjoyed! Exactly what I was hoping. I hope to branch out more of this is the type of content ppl like.
Your thumbnail game is unmatched!
Thank you!

You are lawyer?! You are one smart cookie
I jot down some notes at the bottom of the score sheet to help me remember how the Game went for analysis later.
Good idea, Frank.

When I placed my hand on the table, I immediately place that token on top, so that way it does not get confused with my resources or anything else
