I know the tank has been customised, a period modification at the end of the day, and looks in keeping, I also like the patina of the whole bike as this cannot be replicated. The work you have done on her is tasteful and not over done. Thanks
Nice job of keeping it's patina alive, bikes like this are much more interesting than total restorations. To me anyway, very nice video Mike. Keep up the great work.
Looks beautiful, Mike. I’m betting she’ll get a lot of attention at the show. Great job and looking forward to seeing her on the road. Cheers, Dan ✌️🏍🇨🇦
In Memory of Steve Irwin, "she's gorgeous!" You are a very patient man, Mike. Oh, i was 50/50 on keeping the "flames " paint job, or go with original Beezer factory paint - i now believe you chose wisely- looks great!😊❤
Any bits left over Mike .. 😅 Well done on the re-assembly, not a bad thing as it's probably given you the opportunity to add the odd one or two items for the final build ready for the season first ride & shake-down. Good luck for the weekend, most of all 'have fun' .. 👍atvb t .. 🏍
Just started riding in October. This will be my first One Show. I'm looking forward to meeting you and seeing the finished BSA in person. See you in a few days!
Hi I am Marian and we here in Groningen ( Netherlands) ride together for 47 years motor... Cees my husband ride 52 years and we have now the Triumph Rocket 3r...3 years old and nearly 50.000 kilometers... We go about 3 weeks to luxemburg.. 🤗
Hi Mike, great job getting the Beezer ready for the ONE show. Interesting intricacies of the assembly of a 'simple' twin cylinder bike. Glad you have the expertise friend! Thanks as always for sharing!👍
I wasn't sure about the design of the paintwork initially Mike, but I've grown to like it now !.. It's pretty distinctive so I wonder if anyone watching recognises it ? - The Quickly Detachable (QD) headlight plug is usually a Gold Star item, I'm pretty sure it wasn't fitted on UK market Super Rockets.. Though, like those wide handlebars, it may have been standard on US spec Super Rockets ?.. After a long search I've just managed to get my hands on a genuine, 'numbers matching' Rocket Gold Star, I know that the RGS was delivered in two different specifications for the US market - East Coast and West Coast - but I don't know if that is the same for Super Rockets.. However, late model Super Rockets like yours (1962-63) had identical engines to the RGS, so if you're really lucky yours just might have the 'Big Valve' head !..
All the bits came together nicely and looking great. The headlight assembly impressed me with all the features. I’m wondering if handlebar weights might be a good addition to the cow horn bars when she’s back on the road?

A proper Rocker’s motorbike. You’ve made a great job of it Mike, a very sympathetic restoration.

Beautiful Machine !!! - All the right parts and the careful hand- assembled bits really bring out the best.... Have a great time at the show!!!
Looking good, Mike. Good job on those fiddley front fork boot clamps too. The stainless ones do look good. I hope to see you at the show.
having the headlamp of the bike to install the switch ammeter and wiring makes it so much easier

Flames on a 1962 BSA! nooooooooooo, sacrilege. 😄😄
Most people think it should be kept, as part of the bikes history.
