Holy crap. Thank you SO much. I managed to get in touch with Mark many years ago and was told that there was no way a proper soundtrack would be released (I don't have the mail anymore but I do believe it was something about the source files and the way the music was put into the game). This is as far as I know, the closest thing we'll ever get. Thanks for the soundtrack!
This music reminds me of when I was on Planet Fusco, building my castle. As I waltz from the reception room, through the entertainment room, into my workshop to build a custom home exhibition of my family's history. Hours of toiling away on pictures and captions, watching old videos and reading old newspapers. Sometimes I think I hear a noise. Impossible, this is a molten planet. There should be no signs of life here. Yet I hear it again. I must investigate. I leave the workshop and walk through the entertainment room and the dining room before entering the reception room. I walk up the spiral staircase into the second floor and out the balcony. Suddenly, I'm confronted by a glowing fire-Skeleton! Oh shit! I dart back down the staircase, and through the maze of family exhibits before I exit out the front door, hoping to lose it. It finds me. I run around the building to my left and find a ditch in the middle of piles of wood. Wait. That's no ditch, for it leads to a staircase. I descend into what looks like an underground crypt. Suddenly I see the fire-Skeleton chasing after me down the stairs. I enter the crypt and the fire-Skeleton collapses into a pile of bones. That was a bad day.
I recently found out that if using the game under Windows, by skipping the MIDI test in the Setup utility, it will set the base synth for playback, missing a lot of details. It sounds like you got the base synth version of the soundtrack... Extracting the MIDI files and playing them with a proper synth (SC-55, SC-88 or even a good soundfont) will give access to the full range of instruments in the soundtrack. To conclude, there are actually 2 versions of the soundtrack : one basic, and one extended
Eu fechei esse jogo junto com a minha primeira namorada. Ela adorava esse jogo. Eu dormia e ela continuava jogando. Eram se não me engano uns 10 CDs. Bons tempos...
Is there the guitar being played in the town square in here? The man sitting, just strumming his guitar? I used to watch a relative of mine play this game when I was younger and I always dug that little part.
Sorry if im wrong, but I think there's one track missing. At the beginning of chapter 6, while the sex scene hasn't become rape yet, there's a beautiful piano medley in the background, I'm pretty sure it's also in the intro of the game or in the first chapter. If it's in the video, then I'm sorry for bothering, if not, would you be so kind to point me where to find it? Would like to learn how to play that song on piano. Thanks a lot!!!!
It's there a web site where I could find the entire soundtack because I already find consumite furore and take a stand. Thank you very much. I am looking for mp3
Old source code and custom file formats be darned! Sierra Chest, thanks to your hard work, it is my pleasure to present to you one of the most sophisticated audio packages ever produced. I have incorporated old open source technology to push the limits of today's computers... I used ffmpeg to make these MP3 files: archive.org/details/phantasmagoria-ost Sorry, I can't seem to figure out how to properly upload music there.
Great game still play it

I wish an orchestra would put it to life

Superbe composition et arrangement musical ! ça me replonge 20 ans en arrière !... Hypnotique, onirique, et sombre,...
certaines pistes me fesait peur surtout celle avec le gros coup de piano
I have been looking for The Record Player song forever! Thank you very much!

Thank you so much
The Chase is great
Wow. Thanks for sharing. When I played a game, I believe there was a way to extract the music from the game files and play them with a media player.
Thank you very much for the upload.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Спасибо! Игра моей юности!
Eu fechei esse jogo junto com a minha primeira namorada. Ela adorava esse jogo. Eu dormia e ela continuava jogando. Eram se não me engano uns 10 CDs. Bons tempos...
I repurchased this game on gog.com pity it didn't come with the soundtrack as an extra
listening to the "Crypt" track, it makes me feel like im already dead but the gates of Heaven are closed cause im still alive. weird huh?
***** that lullaby around 23:00 was really creepy.
Thanks for posting this. The music varies depending on the computer MIDI instruments, correct?
Main hall theme reminds Stephen King`s Langoliers theme.

I did not follow until zero this classic

How I wish someone who knew how to play piano would record themselves playing these songs 😭
Wonder if its possible to get the full uncompressed version. I know they had to compress this quite a bit to fit it in 95.
+GPVlog I would be so happy to find it too.
Another commenter said it's impossible due to how the sources were planted in the game or something
Entrance Hall Piano Song 1 is the same song of Chapter 3 Theme
hi, where do you got the soundtrack? or can i rip it from the game? love it
Yeah looks like he ripped of the game
It's there a web site where I could find the entire soundtack because I already find consumite furore and take a stand. Thank you very much. I am looking for mp3
