We're not playing european football so there are limited games to get game time it literally makes no sense to sign Tapsoba when you've just signed a starter quality young talented CB. How is he going to improve on the bench?

People like you are holding the club back as you think that our defence is perfect and ready to go for next season. Eric Dier is our third choice CB. Enough said. They improve through competition with other players.

We have a strong core of great young players with great potential at least for the next 5 to 7 years as they are all pretty much in their early or mid 20s and now we got a manager who can nurture and guide them. Really excited for this rebuild. Trophies might not come now but im confident we are building something very special for the next year or so. COYS!

Well we might not win the league next season, but we'll be the most aesthetically pleasing to look at.
So pretty much 2016/17 when we came 2nd conte's chelsea who played the most defensive boring football you can ever see won the league while spurs played beautiful football and we came 2nd
Selling our greatest ever player 2 days before the season starts is an embarrassment. I guess this is what rock bottom feels like as a Spurs fan, but we’ve been through so many tough times in the last 5-10 years

@@stevedip5219 Honestly, the amount of money Levy spends on hiring trolls to spam comments against him.
Spurs were always left short in area's under every manager, Our best period was under Harry Rednap and Poch and they all got sacked because they moaned about not getting quality players in.
Every final we got to, the players were dead on their feet as Poch normally played the same eleven every game so when we got to the end of the season, the players were spent. Our bench was always fairly medicore compared to the elite clubs.
Spurs make a lot of big statements like we're top 6 and an elite club but we act like a Championship club in the market.
We haven't made an elite signing since Klinman which says it al.
If you look at the quality of the elite teams benches at the time, you can see why we always fell short in semi's and finals.
Levy sacks Jose before a cup final because Jose wanted to put his strongest team out to try and win it. Levy's top priority was getting into the CL to gain the CL money.
Harry has never been at a super club like Man City, Chelsea, Utd and Liverpool.
All these teams replace their faded stars with expensive bright shiny new stars.
Man City spent close to 90 mikllion on Gvordiol, Liveroppl 110 million on CAICEDO, Man Utd 70 million on Hojlund, Chelsea have bought quality in every area and sold over 230 milions worth of players.
Tottenham have never operated like elite clubs and their elite squad wages is double ours. Arsenal just spent 100 million on Rice and now their about to buy Raya one of teh best keepers in the league.
Levy the cheap skate went for an unknown Italian keeper on the cheap. Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Newcastle are the top 6 now with Villa and Brighton knocking on the door.
Levy is all about finding cheap bargains and bringing in players on low wages to keep the squad wage bill as low as possible.
That's why we've only won one trophy in 23 years. We've never had enough quality to get over the line. We were always punching above our weight with Harry Kane, Son and Hugo our best players oftren surrounded by average teammates and a crap bench.
Go compare Bayern Munichs wage bill to the rest of the teams in the bundesliga as that's why they win every season repeatedly.
