Cool bag. Thanks for the overview. I really like the totepack design, but not a fan of rolltops. I also don't like the feel of X-Pac. Sure its waterproof and (arguably) durable, but it just feels cheap in my hands. Like it's grocery bag or cheap raincoat material 😕
One of the best design for tote backpack out there.. The roll top is to carry more items and secure from weather like rain or dust.

you can disable the rolltop by putting the rolltop to inside the bag but then you cannot use the small compartment.
