Ori and the Blind Forest - Part 1 - Let’s Try Again (9 Years Later)

Welcome to my #oriandtheblindforest playthrough! Based on what my Steam review said, I finished this game for the first time back in June of 2015, which is fitting considering I am finally getting around to replaying it 9 years later. I absolutely fell in love with this game when I first played it. There were times when I wanted to destroy my controller, but overall all the experience was simply magical. The art is beautiful. The platforming is very difficult at times. The combat is fun and challenging and the “bosses” are a pain to get through. Overall though, this game is why I was open to playing Dark Souls and why I moved on to Hollow Knight. And BOY is VERY clear the moment you start playing the game because it is very much a punishing metroidvania filled with heart, love, and sadness. I hope you enjoy my re-journey through this wonderful game.
