Georgie played his fuckin heart out
It's funny all I heard is that he sucked all year. Even in the playoffs, his stats aren't that good, but he played great. Defense was soft in their zone, forwards too, turnovers all over the place, like they did all season long. But All I heard is that he was awful. He's not the problem in Colorado, weak defensive play is
@@stephanea5364 if the avs had a shot on net for every time the forwards blew the zone while the d men were still behind net they would never lose again..
Our Forwards don't play 2 ways or backcheck really it even took them awhile to get any type of forecheck going. If we can manage to fix that well be alright

Georgie earned his spot in denver. Man became a dependeble asset to this crew come the playoffs
The Avs need to re-sign Drouin..I hope he returns in the fall.

@@AstroZ99 Because of all the players that the Avs acquired last year and got at the trade deadline he is the only one worth staying. Based on his interview he wants to stay.

Yes × 1,000! Drouin is a monster out there on the top line with Mack, they are constantly creating scoring chances out there and J D is about as fast as Nate too.
@stephanea5364 Maybe, unfortunately, his stats didn't show that based on Capfriendly. It will definitely be a different Avs team come October
Stars fan here, and I just want to say, way to battle back and amazing series that easily could have gone the other way. Sad to see Parise not get his cup, but we have Pavs and Suter on our side too. Towes said it best, with your core, yall will be contenders for years to come, as should the Stars. Looking forward to the back and forth the Stars and Avs had back in the late 90's early 00's. Congrats on a great season and hope to dance again next year.
You must be a newbie Stars fan because a long time fan would never say anything nice about the Avs.

Likewise. I've been a Stars fan since 96, and I can honestly say the Avs are a good team and should be for years to come. I was impressed and surprised by the way Georgiev played this series. If you can get that kind of play in the net with the offensive weapons that the Avs have, they are difficult problem to solve. Hockey is better when the Avs and Stars are both playoff teams.
@@TJ_Loves2fish Absolutely. I just love good hard fought battles. I get zero pleasure from blowouts, and have a mutual respect for 31/32 NHL teams. (I respect Vegas players- just not their sleazy management style).

Losing Nichushkin was a dagger, once we get our top 6 re-tooled we’ll be a contender again next season.
Big respect to Georgiev. His future is bright. Hope Jo can spend some more time as an Av, as well.
Need to fckng be available to play, I’m getting tired of Nuke 2 years a in a row, Landy not available, losing our Pk guys and key depth players. Injuries are part of the game but cmon man. Also mack and mikko were straight up not good enough especially with there salary.
Reset sort the BS out and see what FA will shape out like. Get healthy and come back next season with a chip on there shoulders.
