I would add that I am finding issues with the bike twisting my seat. We are going to oil the pivot point to see if that helps, but even the turns shown in this video result in my seat twisting quite a bit.
@@frankreichert1272 I tightened my seat but that only made it worse in my opinion. Some have suggested to grind down the safety stopper, but I actually loosened mine and it helped a bit more. I do not suggest tightening it A LOT.
Got mine yesterday and after the first ride I noticed my seat post all scratched from the bracket moving despite it being super tight. I'm gonna grind off the welded stops which should relieve that. Has anyone heard of any negative effects from doing this?
Some people managed to loosen the bolt on the copilot bike hinge so it turns on that. So the main bike seat is not twisted. I couldn't loosen that bolt at all but i loosened the 4 bolts on the attachment on the main bike (little bit so it's still safe enough) so the pilot bike turns around the main bike seat without moving the seat itself.
I found the solution for the problem of copilot twisting the main bike seat. There are two ways to attach the copilot. The attachment should be facing down instead of facing up. Put 1-2 drops of oil also in the copilot hinge. I am surprised it stopped twisting my main seat after this
There is more potential to have issues with the tow arm clearing the rear wheel when you have a bike with larger wheels. But it also is going to depend on your specific bike geometry and how close the seat post collar sits in relation to the top of the rear wheel. You also need about 2.5" of seat post to attach the mounting plate to the seat post. For me personally, it worked with my hybrid bike with 700c wheels, but not with my mountain bike with 29" wheels.
Honestly, that's hard to say. They both wobble and I honestly can't remember. Those two products to me aren't interchangeable, so I wouldn't let their comparative wobble factors be the deciding factor in your decision.
I loved the video until you said it’s not good for long rides. That’s why I wanted it. My 4 year old gets tired after a couple miles, so I was hoping this would get us a few more miles..
Poor design I wish I can say I’d like it but I don’t. The tabs on the hitch are not the best design. When turning the whole seat post attachment turns.
What you describe is certainly a potential issue. The Burley Kazoo has a much better design to prevent this, but it’s also much more expensive. For the price point, this one is the best option. But if you can afford more, the Burley Kazoo is definitely the way to go!

This is the best review I've seen of this tag along. Thanks!
Wow, thanks!

Hey Sara! We had this happen as well and really had to tighten our own seat post A LOT. Have you tried tightening it?

We just got one of these and it’s hella fun
LOL, it sure is. Enjoy!
is there any shield to protect kids from getting blasted with dirt, debrees and water and mud?
There is a mud guard in both the front and back.
What if we do not have the first part can I order it on line
The first part?
Can this be connected to a 28 " frame as opposed to the standard 26" frame?

@Two Wheeling Tots how does the wobble compare to the Gator Tow Bar? I imagine it's less, but just wanted to ask. Thanks!

My daughter with Still doesn’t know how to puddle is this is ok ? Or the kids have to puddle?
A child does't have to pedal, but you'll have to work harder if they don't! :-)
@@Twowheelingtotsbikes thank you
Can use Traning wheels on my bike while the co poilet is on?
We wouldn't recommend that.
@@Twowheelingtotsbikes how about putting it on a 3 wheels bike ?
Is it suitable for adults?
Not unless they are very petite. Our 9 year old was almost getting too big.
excellent review
So happy we could help you!

My mountain bike has 29In wheels seems like it should fit..
As an FYI it does not fit on my large Santa Cruz Chameleon.
Hi, did this work on your 29” wheels?
Привет ! У нас такой же , беленький ! Супер !
Lol I have this it’s epic
