It's amazing the sheer number of people I recommended the game to, never figured out how to reach act 2, but still loved it to death. I didn't tell them, btw. One day, it will blow their mind.
The true ideal Inscryption experience is to actually pull your teeth and stab out your eye when using the pliers and dagger in the game. Makes it a lot more immersive.
I've definitely mentioned this before but the way your video style visually changes for each game is astounding. Your skills are clearly getting more and more professional too -- so exciting to think what you'll do in the future! Also, thank you for these! I feel like people can so easily complain and yell about game devs because they're this imaginary force-- and aside from teaching us awesome game history, I feel that you really humanise the people behind the games we cherish and give people faces and names to be thankful to.
Oh man, thank you so much for those amazing words! I always try to put the devs front and center and tell the story from their perspective so I'm glad that shows. Creating unique visuals for every video is what keeps things fun and interesting for me so I'm just happy people seem to dig that aspect :D
I literally just beat Inscryption yesterday for the first time and checked if there was a ThatGuyGlen video on it and now this appears today. What a coincidence.
Special shoutout to the game's creator, Daniel Mullins, for providing the concept art and early gameplay footage featured in the video! What indie game would you like to see me cover next? Outer Wilds for sure, Noclip has an amazing documentary. But as far as I know there is very little coverage of the DLC. And Outer Wilds DLC is hands down the best DLC I ever played. Would be interesting seeing how they made the physics work etc...
I played The Hex after Inscryption (like many I'd assume, if any), and it makes me a bit sad that with how incredible Inscryption is, many people won't bother looking at the older brother.
Inscryption's one of my favorite games! It was super cool seeing how you adapted its visual styles into your documentary; I thought it fit perfectly. I'd love to see a documentary from you on Outer Wilds!
Thank you very much, glad to hear you enjoyed it! Outer Wilds is definitely on my list, should make for an interesting challenge in terms of the visuals!
My favorite aspect of Daniel Mullin's games is that they are games about games, and gaming culture as a whole. As long as that's not going away, I do hope getting surprised by his next game.
My man changing the thumbnail and video title everyday at this point. Does it really help with the views? just curious, no hate, I really love the content
The first 3D section with puzzle/escape room elements was definitely the most enjoyable part for sure. Wish there was a game around those aspects and expands there instead of such different changes.
The production of this video is insane. I have to ask how did you find the 3D models from the game? Some were free but the scale and stuff must have been custom made? Also the card graphics and everything. Must have taken so much time, but this feels like one of the most professional videogame channels!
You're doing a fantastic job! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
Regarding Nintendo’s recent actions on emulation, this is the only solution: *All types of intellectual property (IP) laws must be fully abolished immediately, in any and all jurisdictions worldwide.* All IP laws are extremely unethical for humankind. ‘Against Intellectual Monopoly’ is the most informative book humanity has on the subject now. ‘Against Intellectual Property’ is _another_ incredible essay, but it’s written with right-libertarian rhetoric so if you’re, like me, not right-libertarian you’ll have to read with an open mind and extract the essential info. _Only_ these two texts are the gold standard when it comes to intellectual property.

Playing through Inscryption blind and in the dark is a treat everyone should try
Should I waterboard myself too?
I tried playing it blind but I couldn’t see what I was clicking on
I think he means blind when you loose your eye@@panampace

While I was playing Tunic , he released a video on that , and now that I am playing Inscryption , he releases a video on that . This is just scary
What are you playing next?👀
bros watching you

Pony island:
My favorite part has always been part 2 specifically _because_ it reminded me of the Gameboy Pokémon card game. I wish it had more to it.

My favorite aspect of Daniel Mullin's games is that they are games about games, and gaming culture as a whole. As long as that's not going away, I do hope getting surprised by his next game.
Inscryption is one of the best games I've played, loved everything in and about it.
3:20 Hearing "Competetive Online Component" right after "Team Fortress 2" hurts my soul
Bro you are changing the title and thumbnail daily xd
this game made me (grown ass man) cry at the ending .
it's one of the best games I have played
i am always interested in your videos with how you do the research and the deep dives into big titles keep it up man
Thanks, glad to hear you enjoy the content!
@ i see the hard work man its always so high quality i always genuinely find your videos so intriguing
My man changing the thumbnail and video title everyday at this point. Does it really help with the views? just curious, no hate, I really love the content
It really does help.
Part with live action and how he found curse game give me vibe of old creepy pastas, and I like it. All lore great implemented in game.
Dude! Your video is so good it was played in my CLASSROOM!
Holy crap, that's awesome! I hope everyone learned something :D
Ha! Inscryption! Just as i mentioned in the previous video :d Thanks awesome job
Yup, I’m glad I’m finally able to share it :D
The first 3D section with puzzle/escape room elements was definitely the most enjoyable part for sure. Wish there was a game around those aspects and expands there instead of such different changes.
Can't wait to see how Pony Island 2 was made in 2025 🔥
I love your stuff man, shame that youtube is ghosting you.
Antalogy was put aside you say...
Daniel's next game is, fittingly, an sequel for his first big game...
The box lives?
I am not a fan of card games, but it is obvious that Daniel Mullins has some proper game dev skills
I would have loved if choosing who you’d replace in act 2 actually took control in act 3 that way there’s a reason to replay the game again and again
Dammit. What he did in 48 hours, would've taken me 48 days!
Tunic 1 month ago and now Inscryption, bangers.
never unqueued from deadlock so fast
Wild to think Pokemon could both make and inspire a game

Griftlands, please do griftlands, it also is an amazing rogue-lite deckbuilder
I've put it on my list!
Such an interesting game! I've watched so many friends play it -- looking forward to learning the lore from you!
I don't really dive so much into the lore as I do how the game was developed, hope you enjoy it anyway!

Thanks a lot for this video! Inscryption is one of those really memorable games that I think is a must play. Like The Stanley Parable
My pleasure!
another bang bruv can you do one for Five Nights At Freddys i really want to know a in-depth of how Scott made it
He put some assets together in an engine, the games are really not that hard to make
Thanks, glad you liked it! And Five Nights is on my list.
