I've been playing WuWa a lot more than Genshin in the last year, and I was very happy listening to these tracks in the Black Shores environment because they remind me a little of Enkanomiya in Genshin, and I miss that era of Genshin a lot-- mainly everything up until the end of Sumeru's Archon Quest. Though I adored the underwater exploration and Furina's story, it's all sort of begun to fall off for me since then. But one of the things Genshin does really well is integrate music into specific stories so that you think of them by association when you hear the music again, and I loved the Mt Firmament update music for having that effect with its tracks, and I'm loving that that has continued for the Shorekeeper's story in this update. The Shorekeeper's piano song hits really hard in the feels and I hope WuWa continues in this trend.
