    INGREDIENTS:
    3/4 cup oat flour*
    1/4 cup old fashioned oats*
    1/4 cup pure maple syrup
    1/4 cup almond butter**
    1 tablespoon ground flax seed
1 and 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup non-dairy dark chocolate chips or 1.5 ounces finely chopped dark chocolate bar
    DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 350°F then line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients then stir together until a dough forms.
Scoop the dough out 1 and 1/2-to-2 tablespoons at a time and roll into balls. Press down with the bottom of a glass (or your hand) to form a round disc shape (or leave as balls). Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes, until light golden brown on the edges. All to cool before serving and enjoy!

It's kind of rude of the people who are asking for your father instead of enjoying what you're trying to teach them about cooking. And to those who think that Jane is overwhelming the mother , I think that Jane shows a great deal of love towards her mother. She includes her in everything. What more can you ask for.

I am 3 months into Whole Food Plant Based, no oils, no sugar, no added salt - I love all the Esselstyns, but Jane Esselstyn is my Woman Warrior Shero!!! Jane is amazing and really brings the love to the movement. If Jane is front and center it is only because Ann allows it, Ann is a POWERHOUSE, anyone who thinks otherwise has a ton more videos to watch... and, they are all great! My 7 year old says every night after bath, "Can we watch the Forks ladies? Just one episode before books?" ... Thank you, Jane, for helping me move my entire family to WFPB, no oil, no sugar, no salt

These cookies look sooo delicious. I love oats, but can't eat any. Oats spike my blood glucose REALLY high.

Do you use nuts in your daily diet? I thought Dr Esselstyn does not recommend nuts, except perhaps three halves of Walnuts.
Also i am surprised nut butter is allowed in Esselstyn diet.

There is a plant perfect recipe for oatmeal cookies , using mashed ripe bananas only as the base and then adding oatmeal, oat flour and any other add ons desired And baking them. No need for nut butters or maple syrup. See Lisa Lansing RUclips channel for recipe.
