I love this guy and he makes really funny movies. Hit's and misses but over all a great comedy director and always getting better. He'll always have a soft spot in my heart for being the director that made "Bittersweet Motel" the Phish documentary :D
I respect and love Todd Phillips as a filmmaker and this interview just made me love him 10x more. he spent the first five minutes checking the interviewer and it makes me so happy. "I don't even know why I am here" I don't even know if this interviewer loves movies or just loves being right about numbers and things that have nothing to do with film making. thank you for that good laugh I needed Todd. the hangover trilogy is the best comedy trilogy of my life and I rewatch it all the time. cant believe this guy tried to say the land of the loss was a better movie. I've never even heard of that movie. Todd Phillips just made me so so so happy.
Funny that Melissa McCarthy is mentioned because he used her in 'The Hangover Part III' - her and Zach had such great chemistry, always wanted a spin-off from them, maybe have them as the third couple in 'Wedding Crashers II'!
