With cheap ass tvs like TCL and Vizio, you can't expect much. But definitely better than buying a Samsung that displays the best colors and picture but still suck on sound quality. I hope you find a basic $20 sound bar from a BigLots/Walmart. That's what I did and it was a great decision 👍
Just bought theS310G-S350G-QSG 32" Tcl tv. Can I hook up my old VCR somehow? Also, do I need a 'cable box' from my cable company? I'm not very computer savvy (yet) my old VCR still works fine...go ahead&laugh.....but an answer would be much appreciated... Thanks....

I just bought the 40" version of this. It has a decent picture after calibration but the sound sucks. You will need a soundbar 100% with this t.v.

You'd have to get some kind of adapter to plug into HDMI for your VCR. Your cable company might have an app that works on the TV. Contact them.
