    I miss ESPN of the 90s when sports center ran on a loop from 6 am until noon. And then 6/6:30pm With Kieth Olberman, Dan Patrick, a young Rich Eisen, Linda Cohn, Kenny Mayne, Charley Steiner, Robin Roberts, Stuart Scott.
    Others shows I miss was Up Close with Roy Firestone, Chris Myers, and Gary Millier which would air just prior to the evening sports center Monday thru Friday.
    On Sundays mornings miss the sports reporters with Dick Schapp, John Saunders, Mitch Album, Mike Lupica, Bob Ryan.
    Also miss Sunday NFL countdown with Chris Berman, and Tom Jackson as well as NFL primetime that would air prior to Sunday night football on ESPN.
    Should have kept MNF on ABC.

    DP made a terrible point about Rodgers giving money back. He gave up $35m last year, hes done his share. What should have been done is, they excused Rodgers, he had peronal issues to deal with and that would have been the end of it. The Jets as usually screewed up and called it unexcused. So here we are in the middle of June with nothing to talk about and the incompetitent Jets giving the talking heads something to talk about. And since you don't state why that is the case, you basically assume it a priori. Well then, I have a question for you, why would you want to choose a player that would draw that kind of pressure (CC allegedly) over Taurasi who wouldn't? You're making a case that Taurasi would be more effective than CC because she would be given "space" to create against her opponents.

Does anyone remember the last seven (post-Jackson) coaches? Vogel brought them a championship in 2020 but nobody remembers him, either. Redick will spend a couple years there and see LeBron out and we’ll be on to another coach. Just like the last seven. If lightning strikes he might do a Vogel and I’d be happy for him. I use to love ESPN back decades ago, but its been bad and its not gonna get any better imho. They are gonna keep doing what they are doing now and maybe, just maybe, this will finally catch up with them and they will wake from their coma here and bring some of the people they fired back and fire a LOT of these newer people they hired overall. Thats just my 2 cents. But its ESPN, you can watch it or ya dont have to. Its your choice not to watch. If you cant stand ESPN, stop watching it or they are getting ratings still and will see no need to change. Facts.

    He is totally ignoring the obvious targeting on CC. How arrogantly disingenuous. CC is playing balls out, it is the abuse and lack of team support and the total incompetence of her coach. She is THE best player in the league that is being held back by every aspect of this horrible league.

    In the 90s, when we were out in the world actually fun and exciting things rather than sitting in front of a screen, Sportscenter at night was great. Charismatic, smooth, hilarious anchors would catch us up on the scores/news/highlights in the world of sports. It was glorious. Astonishingly enough, no politics. Imagine that. It was glorious

    What Dan doesn’t realize is that the NIL wasn’t accepted by the NCAA because they wanted to. It was determined by the Supreme Court, which ruled it was anti competitive and monopolistic in a free market system.

    I'm not expert but the WNBA's version of ''physical basketball'' is , we ignore the rules and our refs don't do their jobs. Its actually inexcusable because its sloppy basketball, they don't play like skilled players.

    • @michaellacross5266
      @michaellacross5266 11 дней назад

      The W is becoming more skilled, and that is to say "skilled" as you use the term. The rookies coming out of college are slightly faster, and have a little more shooting range than the pioneers of the league. All of basketball, international, NBA, college, are morphing into starting 5 players that can stretch the defense with their shooting. The W will get there too because they have no choice. If a person can shoot the 3 ball at plus .400, that is equal to a player shooting the ball at .600 at the 2 point range. How many players can say they were a career .600 shooter? Now, how many players are shooting the 3 ball at +.400? That is what changed basketball. Math, and the ability to practice the shots until you're marginally more proficient.

    WRONG! Team USA will dominate the Olympics and by 20 minutes, Those games would be over. You telling me YOU CANT play the 7 reserves evenly at those times??? It will be blowouts and its not even close. DUMB ARGUMENT! ----BUT, I have a feeling she will play. Someone will suddenly be either 'injured,or gets mental break'. They just want everybody to know that she is a RESERVE and not considered the best 12. SHE WILL PLAY !

  • @buckfan1969

    Walked away from pro sports over the last 30 years because of the greed. All I had left was college ball and pro golf, and now they're going down the primrose path themselves. As an Ohio State fan, I know the Bucks will benefit greatly from all this nonsense, because they're loaded. But I don't care; it's now minor league professional football where high school seniors are already free- agents. If Ohio State wins the natty because they spent the most money, where's the joy in that?

    of course training camp and OTAs matter. It all matters. That’s why Brady is the GOAT and the Patriots were always the best. Rodger’s is gonna downplay his absence and the offseason activities but that’s why he’s not a winner. He said that the Jets need to be all about winning and he doesn’t show that at all what a clown
