  • Many beloved legendary cameras were born in the 80s. The Canon AE-1, Nikon F3, Leica R5 (well maybe not so much), and Yashica T3 were all released or saw their popularity soar in the decade. None of them are quite as odd as the Kyocera Samurai, a half frame camera that takes more inspiration from a a handy cams design than a regular 35mm slr. It took a some canvassing of Tokyos used camera stores to find one in decent condition. Was it worth it?
