But in snowrunner, it just takes that impact damage and subtracts it from the suspensions health, until the "suspension is broken" at which point the the truck drops to the lowest suspension height. Like that system gets the job done, sure, but its not the *best* damage system.
Which is changing in season 7 there will be no more shadow damage ( shadow damage being destroyed suspension on small rocks or downed trees and visual damage occurs only when damage is actually taken ) But really beamng is better in almost every way except missions winches and terrain deformation

The MVP tree reminded me of something that happened earlier today, I was transporting medium logs in black river and they were in the hx which i escorted with the fleetstar because the hx wasn’t very capable unlike the fleetstar but the fleetstar wasn’t big enough so near the wooden bridge task ( Which I had just completed ) the hx flipped right as the game saved ( which actually happened 3 times ) so I tried to exit the game then re-log to go back but because the game saved when I came back in the hx was mid flip so I manoeuvred around it to not set off the physics and winched to the side barely saving it which is one of my best close calls
