Akkadian is the mother of Ashurit and iwrit. Aram was indeed the brother of Ashur and Elam but his people lived far to the south and their language was an Assyrian dialect. You may like "Aramaic" better because the fathers of Jesus (Aramean shepherds who committed fornication with Mary and became the fathers of the baby Jesus) and thus Jesus himself, spoke this dialect, but your opinion does not change the facts.@@rrtvox
u do know what tribe u come from its the language u speak today and ur ancestors were those people the end when people say my ancestors were this so I must be half this ethnic ummm dont u think if u came from that ethnic u would be speaking that language today and come from those people ethnically from ur parents
You point a finger at the churches, and although true it's sad that we have 5 main branches of the mother church of the east divided today, and not counting the many other non-apostolic churches, but you should at least admit that if it wasn't for the Church of the East we all would've been parished and melted in different nations either Arabs or Persians. But, you don't do that but point a finger at the very one entity that kept the Assyrian name alive. You also don't say anything about existing tribal division that's in our nation which has been the main root cause of division since the days of the Assyrian empire, and until now there are sadly people that plant tribalism within their kids and pride of their Maleke (mini kings) over their national kings from our old empire. You also, don't point any figure at the new movement that's planting yet more division into our nation and that is the movement of Ashouraye vs. Atouraye. Those who call themselves Ashouraye and denounce the name Atouraye, are the ones who have so much hate towards the same church that kept them alive, and want to go back and worship the God Ashur, when they have zero litreture kept from the religion of Ashur, but have only made up things for themselves. You also don't mention to the rising number of athiest Ashouraye that also do the same thing you do, point a finger at the Christian faith within our nation and blame the same church that kept them alive. You also don't mention those, but only the same entity that saved you as an Assyrian. And finally, you take a video of a Jewish Rabbi who's talking to his own people instead of yourself making a video that covers the issues I've covered here.

Not Assyrian, they spoke Aramaic, there was no Assyrian language, the Assyrians spoke Akkadian before switching to Aramaic.
