I just saw your video one year later . Loved the review. Thorough and detailed and it helped me in knowing what scooter I wanted to persew. Thank you very much
Really nice scooter! The stainless steel brake hoses were an unexpected upgrade in a scooter of this size. Fit and finish of the scooter looks really good on the video. BTW...the indicator you pointed to is not the 4-way flasher indicator. It indicates for ANY turn signal being on. OEMs do this to 1.) Save a little money. 2.) When there's not enough room on the instrument panel for both a left and right turn indicator. Old European cars did this for years (along with putting the horn button on the turn-signal stalk). Enjoy your new scooter!
Very well done walk around review. Back in 2014 I had the Roughouse50 50cc 2 stroke and loved it...……..till I started installing overbore kits and blew it up TWICE. I out the original 50cc engine back in it and sold it for $300. The Hooligan was the one I WANTED. I have a 1300cc V-4 royal Star Venture now. But am back in the market for a small in town scooter once again, and looking into the Genuine's once again because the Hooligan 170i has fantastic reliability now that it has been out for many years. All I need is to be able to go 45 MPH, BUT, we have some long STEEP hills here in the mountains so I NEEED 150+ cc just to get up the hills when the little lady is riding with me. :-) I am down to a Bintelli 150 (meh) , a Hooligan 170i, and a PCX150 Great vid dude.
Both on my first scooter list. I’m big 6’ and 220#. After on year do you still like the hooligan? How about 12” wheels vs 16”/14”. Comfort including seat and leg/foot room, storage? Thanks
Getting a rear rack and a cheap top box makes the scoot far more functional. It gives you licking storage, and makes the passenger feel far more secure.
I had them order it. It's a very good solid bike. Has actually a lot of power for a 170cc motor. The size is almost a maxi scooter. But I drive mine everyday way to much fun
Have u done any high way rides or any long rides with a passenger around town kinda looking to get a small bike with some power to ride around town with my wife and short lil high way rides no more 6 or 7 miles on the highway
If it helps, I'm 5'6" and own a Roughhouse which I believe is similar in size to the Hooligan. While I absolutely love it, if I was to do it again I'd get the Buddy because I can put both feet flat on the ground at stops. I can't do that on the Roughhouse.
Great review on both bikes. I’m interested in both the Liberty and the Hooligan. What is the handling like on each bike compared to each other. Thanks.
if you are going to do a gas test, just subtract the difference from how much you pumped into the tank and the total miles, and keep a spare tea bottle of gas just in case it runs out
How to change out the light bulb on the hooligan that I just bought the bulb itself is not very bright and I want to put a brighter bowl been there I took out the screws but the panel it still does not want to come off can you video are call me and show me what's going on or what I am not doing please
Jus grabbed mine Friday. Already got 180 miles on it. I love this thing
Its so addicting I am letting a BMW M4 sit! lol
Great all-rounder

Hey no problem. Still got the bike its still strong and running very well
Just got the 2016 model! First bike ever and I love him ❤️
It's an awesome bike! It's fast not to fast. Aggressive looking smooth ride and the gel seat is amazing

Love the dash on the hooligan very James Bond Aston Martin-ish
Nice walkthrough, Rich! Saw you scoot down MLK the other day. Hope you’re doing well!
Yea!! it was so nice out had to ride out! hope you guys are doing good as well. ill be back in soon i want that break light the flashes its sick.
I live on Kauai, I have one and I ride it all the time. I love it. 1gallon gas/wk.
Only comment would be it should have a large speedometer and smaller if any tac.

I'm considering a Hooligan but the shop near me would need to order it. I learned a lot from this review. Thank you.

I have a 2016 in great condition I'd like to sell. Awesome little bike, I'm just ready for something faster :p
If you suddenly lose all of the air out of your rear tire like I did, you will change your mind about that. Gets real scary real fast.
@@scrambler69-xk3kv i already sold this bike to some russian chump named vlad. Now i have a kawasaki z800
Do you think this would be good for a 5-2' female? I need something that will accommodate my hight. Also where did you buy this at.
At 5'2 no this is to large. I bought this at Vespa dealership in Portland OR

There is yes. 2 spots to hang your helmet from
I'm bout to buy a 2016 Hooligan, where is a good place online or in Oregon to get parts?
How much are you buying the 2016 for??
Vespa Portland is a Genuine dealer.
I bought mine from vespa portland. I love it
I have a Lance Cabo, they are very similar in style I think
Do you need a motorcycle license?
Yes atleast here you do. For us in the U.S common law is anything over 50CC you need a motorcycle license

@@MK3Richvr6 I bought a 2020 white one new, it's been a blast to ride,it's my first one. Debating on getting a windshield or not. Haven't decided yet.
