The 90's was the best time to be a kid, we had enough cool technology but not too much where we wouldn't play outside. The internet hadn't taken over yet so shopping malls were still nice, video rental stores and small mom and pop shops were still around. 90's had this fun funky vibe to it with the neon colors that carried over from the 80's, some great tv shows and movies and cartoons and great music. Some times you just need to sit back and let your mind drift back to the good old days.
There's something gentle and inviting about the way the colors bleed, glow, and blur. It makes the past feel larger-than-life and special. On days when life is confusing and stressful, I watch these videos to bring order, if that makes any sense.
Me too. I agree about the colors as well. Watching these videos makes me wish I knew what the 2000s would bring. The end of all things classic and simple. If only we could go back to the 90s and stay there. Would you spend the rest of your life in the 90s? Like we could love 1990 to 1999 over and over until we die? That probably would get weird after a while lol.
@@sadetucker2094 I grew up in both the late 90s and the 2000s, so I have fond feelings for the first half of the decade, despite all the horrible things 9/11 brought to the atmosphere. I often fantasize about what my life would be like if I could live among Hippie in the late 60s, or see dead rock stars in concert. I sometimes wish I could have helped animate some of my favorite cartoons, or had tea with Thomas Jefferson. Heck, imagine being alive to watch Jesus Christ cast out demons, or witness the height of the Roman Empire! I guess my point is that, while I don't doubt the 90s were better is some ways, we're stuck where we are, so we might as well try to make the present the best it can be so that future generations fantasize about getting to experience life in the 2010s. (And of course, there is no shame in missing days gone by)
I used to go thrift shopping tobuy old vhs tapes just so I could find old commercials and tv shows like these.Guess I miss the 80s and 90s.So many memories. So much loss.
I would go back in a heartbeat. Something you don't see very often nowadays is 'G' rated movies. Seems like studios want to push it that little extra to garner a 'PG' rating.
The 90s commercials were the last decade that didn't feature internet advertisement and people actually enjoyed being outdoors without their phones in hand.
I was really tempted to post the boxing training montage with Reginald VelJohnson but the video was getting long. Here is an 8 bit recreation: ruclips.net/video/2YpzgEElrp4/видео.html
So many feels from such an awesome time in my life, my child hood, how badly i want a time machine, or atleast some sort of simulated 80's 90's world like black mirror, id love too see what 90's women were like as a 20teen man.
I remember watching the '94 Oscars as well, mainly because I was staying at my cousin's house in Chula Vista that weekend while my mom and dad were in Catalina, and I picked up a couple Superman comics while staying there.
Great set of vintage commercials from the ABC Affiliate here in Las Vegas, Nevada. KTNV-13 had the "Inside Las Vegas" news team, and loads of local individuals who were given their own programming during the weekend slate. 4:00 Coincidentally, Dr. Hedger here was one of my instructors at Med School. By that time (2004-2005), he had ditched the glasses, and had far less hair, LOL. Thanks for the Upload!
The Bride In Black-Hutch,Carl Winslow and Erica Kane team up to solve a mystery (Bonus: Preview narrated by Optimus Prime) Healthquest-enthusatic audience there.. Suave Hairspray-if her hairdo was the result of using it maybe she needs to switch to a different brand lol Alpha Hydrox-sounds like a name for a Metal Gear Solid character Roseanne-wonder if theyll bring back Fred for the reboot
I remember the .99 cent deal at Burger King. I tell ya. We as a family ate their a lot when they had that deal going. Now adjusted for inflation, that would be a $1.69 Wopper.
Food prices rise primarily due to the cost of oil (especially fast food, where food has to be shipped to thousands of restaurants by truck). When this promotion was going the price of gas was only around $1.11 (less than $2 today).
These aired 7 months before I was born. And in the coach promo the guy with the bowl hair cut played in the TV series based on Stephen King's book The Stand. *M-o-o-n spells sun*
Bill Fagerbakke is most famous for voicing the cartoon character "Patrick Star" on the show "SpongeBob Squarepants".I never knew there was a TV show for "The Stand".
1:19 - Thumbelina definitely represents the great Don Bluth as he was descending into mediocrity. Still, it's nowhere near as bad as Pebble and the Penguin (which he took his name off of) or A Troll in Central Park.

Kids still play outside all the time.
I remember some of these. The 90's was the last great decade and I'm so lucky to have been there.

I used to go thrift shopping tobuy old vhs tapes just so I could find old commercials and tv shows like these.Guess I miss the 80s and 90s.So many memories. So much loss.
In this particular video, it feels like a totally different time, more than ever.
One that I want to go back to!
I was thinking the EXACT same thing! Times have truly changed...

The 90s commercials were the last decade that didn't feature internet advertisement and people actually enjoyed being outdoors without their phones in hand.
Now I gotta find and watch The Bride in Black.

Loving that Hanes Her Way commercial!
I wonder how they feel?
So many feels from such an awesome time in my life, my child hood, how badly i want a time machine, or atleast some sort of simulated 80's 90's world like black mirror, id love too see what 90's women were like as a 20teen man.
SWSW oh they were MUCH different back then. Respectful, smart, wasnt into feminism and was secure with themselves
Reminds me of nights at my grandpa's house. He only had antenna channels on a tv with a turn dial to choose which channel.
Ahh, a time without tide pods and Facebook. Back when times were simple.
Man, I remember trying to collect those McDonald's NBA collector cups!
So did I
Living in Chicago I had 8 Jordan cups
THE '90s IS JUST WOWWWWW...MAN I WISH I LIVED THROUGH '90s

I remember watching the '94 Oscars as well, mainly because I was staying at my cousin's house in Chula Vista that weekend while my mom and dad were in Catalina, and I picked up a couple Superman comics while staying there.

Those McDonald's basketball cups were a hot item back then!
I have that same Buick LeSabre, but it’s blue green.
Sell it to me!
$8240 for a new car. What an age.
$14,000 when adjusted for inflation
Its funny how annoying these were back in the day. Now its a memory lane trip.
what you don't see in that ritz commercial is the paddling she gave those kids after for making a mess in the rv
Wow super size at McDonalds was actually SUPER SIZED!!!! Man I remember these times.
Man, I haven't had Pizza Hut in like forever. I wish they delivered here.

I wish they would bring back the Bigfoot pizza from Pizza Hut
Now the whopper costs almost 4 bucks lol
What a rip off
That Hanes Jingle made my head explode... They used it so much when I was a kid that I used to sing it in the shower!
It sounds soulful for an underwear commercial.
16:48 Its a little unnerving how chain pizza prices have remained the same 24 years later!
JustPeople it means they were way over charging in the past....
We'll never see Burger King promoting a 99 cent whooper deal in 2018 11:31
They haven't done a 99 cent whopper promotion since 2003.
so true
This is why I grew up eating 2 whoppers at a time.
@@jasonwells7087 how far did u get?
Truly a simpler time.
WOW, this was the day of my seventh birthday. I remember that day SO well!
I wanted to live in the 90's
Look at all those god damn fries you got for such a low price. A thousand curses on the Boomers for ruining the economy!
Lol long distance plans! I remember those. That's how phone companies made money off us poor college students.
Thanks for posting.
I miss 1994
I love the tv spot for Thumbelina because they added the Animaniacs short I’m Mad!
I was 7 when all this aired. Man, I wonder what I was up to during that Saturday night...
Me to
I love these commercials too! I especially love the Buick LaSabre commercial with the Rio Grande ski Train.
I remember those MVP Cups! I wonder what one of them would be worth today!
What Happened 2 My Mouse? Nothing?
It's all junk really. There would be no demand for it.
Damn american express travelers checks commercial. My mamaw used to use those :D I haven't had a check book in forever
Is that Peter Cullen as the voice over for the Bride in Black?
Yes it is
Well hello to my childhood.
Carl... the big guy.
I lost a lot of weight by eating whole tubs of margarine in one sitting.
Such a different world back then...
Now i gotta go bowling

We were born in the wrong time
Did you type this msg from the grave????
I know I can't think of anything but lashes either.
I went bowling last night.
😂😂😂😂

I just finished reading The Stand a couple days ago and looked up the series, and thought “Holy crap, Dauber from Coach played Tom Cullen?”

Don't forget "Rock-a-Doodle" (even typing that out causes me pain) which was released in '91. Everything he did before that was solid.
4:25 Ayy badda bing badda boom
RIP tawny
11:05 Nice ADR...
