The Maintenance Deck is the smallest, but also the most annoying, due to the invisible enemies constantly respawning in central hallways. Our main objectives in this episode are: 1. Interact with the Diagnostic Log machine in Repair Bay (southeast of the central area) to produce an audio log. (07:15) 2. Use the Relay Analyzer in a room northwest of the central area and enter the code 428. (11:10) 3. Pick up an Interface Demodulator (just one) in Beta Maintenance. (14:31) 4. Search the mazes in the Alpha, Beta, Delta, and Gamma Maintenance to find a broken Demodulator and replace it. I found it at 17:21, but the location of the faulty Demodulator is different for each playthrough. 5. Pick up Abe Ghiran's head in Delta Maintenance (22:56) and use it on the retinal scanner to enter Maintenance Office. (29:30) 6. Complete the Cyberspace segment in the Maintenance Office (32:25) to unlock the nearby door and destroy 3 CPU Nodes. 7. Use the northern elevator to get back to the Executive Deck. (39:29) 8. Use the Master Jettison Enable Control. (40:14) 9. Head to the Beta Grove Control Room and interact with the Beta Jettison lever. (43:05) 10. Use the elevator in the room where the Master Jettison Enable switch is to reach the Engineering Deck. Make sure you have four pieces of Z-44 Plastique on you. 09:59 You always take a bit of damage when using this Power Station from the nearby electrical hazard. 11:38 Sensaround Radar Unit V2 can also detect enemies (red dots on the minimap), which is particularly useful when dealing with the invisible enemies on this deck. 14:11 The upgraded version of the Navigation and Mapping Unit marks radiation and biological hazards on your map. 32:01 While the basic version of the Protection Pack only reduces damage from biohazards, Version 2 also protects against radiation hazards.

that...your hacker just carried a doods severed head around for 20 minutes to open a door, this just got so much more savage then I expected. which makes me wonder..would that work on a retinal scanner? would it know the eyes dead? I dunno! still came as quite as surprise to me today Though :O
_SHODAN:_ My plans have come to fruition prematurely, but quite to my satisfaction. You have my thanks, Hacker. Let me show you the destruction you have wrought upon the planet Earth.
This js the best level so far. All levels was just like do this do that, kill this kill that and here you are doing the same and at rop of that if you stop paying attention invincible enemy show you where is your place.
I was a little disappointed when I saw there was no flamethrower or inciendiary grenades in this game, but I suppose the dragon's breath rounds make up for it. Whenever I see a Zombie 🧟♂️ or a genetic freak, the first thing to come to my mind is - "kill it with fire! 🔥 ".
Yeah, I'm not a fan of this deck either, dealing with invisible Alpha-Strain Mutants is a pain. My suggestion for the developers would be to make these enemies visible when using the Sight Enhancement dermal patch. This would also make this otherwise quite pointless item useful.
While the game is excellent overall, I think they missed an opportunity on the maintenance deck level. The original was so dark and creepy and frightening. The remake has none of that atmosphere. It's probably more playable and many might find it more enjoyable, but they missed a chance to recreate what was a truly exceptional experience back in 1994.
The Alpha-Strain Mutant looks octopus like now that we get a good look at them. 2:00 More moneys, I hope there no ghost moneys.😅🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 4:53 Nothing 2 C here, move along. 6:06 More mercy killing.🥺 The shotgun sounds meaner & more badass than before.😎 12:42 Someone needs a doctor badly.😧 Things R getting harder now that enemies have double the HP. The security bots sound like Super Battle Droids. 17:31 Like putting in a video game cartridge.🙂 22:53 Looks like those circular doors from Alien. 22:58 Looks like we might need his head 4 a scanner. 23:54 Looks like he had a Bonsai Tree. 29:32 It's a Jim Dandy! 32:10 Definitely sounds safe 2 me. 35:18 Looks like the core of the Death Star. 40:47 Not a charge shot! 43:06 That's how Duke Nukem also does it.😎
Looks like the Cyberspace security. 12:42: Since he became an Avian Mutant, hope patologTV's Hacker did that way, way back. As long as you are not talking about the Episode III and, I don't know, The Clone Wars SBDs. They sounded whiny. 22:58: Doom 2016 made me suspect it. I was right. 29:32: What? 35:18: Looks can be parallel. 43:06: I really have to wonder if patologTV knows about the Zoom Platform release. Highly prefer that over the Steam 20th Anniversary release because it's less scummy.
Happy May the Fourth 2024!!!! I'm just breezing through to the tenth and last video of this playthrough. Good thing those Alpha Strain invisibles don't need the Laser Rapier to kill them, all while your targeting makes them not quite invisible. 3:25: This genki needs some calming down. 10:08: Same old in BioShock and Dishonored. Darn this deck for not having weapon upgrades anymore. 11:38: If you know about the motion sensor in Aliens and Alien: Isolation, then you know what's up. 12:31: An Avian Mutant is born. 14:10: Why isn't the compass already installed in your basic programming? You already had one ready in other immersive sims. 16:23: Why haven't the SHODANites ambushed you through any opening elevator? They must really stop waiting for you to lean and look. 17:25: Lately, games are just making these quirky player character actions. It's nice, but it's getting all too familiar. Those Laser Rapier takedowns of Sec-Bots easily take me back to your stealthy Deus Ex Baton and Dragon's Tooth Sword takedowns. 22:54 and 29:29: ...Doing a Doom 2016, but with a head, not an arm. 23:09: Should have fought till the end. Imagine if the Hacker discovered a damaged enemy nearby. 30:11: And you were never there when they grew up in Tau Ceti V. What a mother you are. 31:15: Would be entertaining, seeing the inevitable reprimanding. 32:02: Like a Deus Ex HazMat enhanced by the Environmental Resistance Aug? 43:04: You could have just used the butt of one of your guns. Little did the Hacker know, Beta Grove went to the aforementioned wormhole near Saturn. So begins the set-up for System Shock 2. Not sure about Alpha and Delta Groves. Perhaps a System Shock 3 shall bring them back. 44:17: Lucky for Lansing, unlucky for SHODAN.
It's nice to see where you give every weapon available in the game chance to have action, but I still see the inventory space is very small...prefer the Prey 2017 inventory management system Btw, have you ever play both of Destroy all Humans game (the remakes especially) do you think its worth to add in your to do list
Beats Deus Ex's for me. Can't recommend them, especially the second. They had the gall to remove a few levels and redo some beloved weapons on Reprobed.

The Frag and Gas Grenades already do the latter's job. Can agree on the former.
The AI is begging now 😂

I can at least bear the Remake take. In the original, it's more of a hassle due to obsolete gameplay mechanics.
