Hi great video. I will be purchasing a JR Pass, is it still recommended to get the Hakone free pass as well?
The JR pass is only for JR lines/trains.
As for the hakone free pass, it’s an additional purchased. You can get it from Klook.
I would recommend the hakone free pass if you traveling to several places in a day. That would cover your transportation in hakone. (Only selected Buses & Trains.)

I think both is a good place for a city getaway. It’s a good time for kids to move out to explore nature, so I would recommend both.
Hello! I'll be heading from Odawara to Gora followed by rope way to Togendai. Am I allowed to carry one bagpack and a hand held duffle bag on this route?
( I don't want to ship them or use a locker)
My plan is to finish the cruise around Lake Ashi and head to Mt.Fuji station where I have my hostel booked for the night.
