    I just started watching a week ago and wasn't expecting much, but have been pleasantly surprised. I don't even own a MC right now, but am wanting a 250l, 300L or rally. I haven't ridden in 4 or 5 years and at 73, I'm questioning whether I need another. Keep em coming. Tom from north of the red river.

  • @fat_joe

    Jake, maybe it would be a good idea to have some sort of nylon inserts on the rabaconda where it interfaces with the spokes? That way you can rotate the tire with a little less effort and the spokes would just glide easily rather than scratch it.

    Wrong application for that chain you’ll need to lube it quite liberally every few hours if you care about wear and tear with your sprockets and the rollers in the chain. If you could care less just send it and buy new shit later. Non o ring chains are for MX bikes where your lubing the chain after a 20 minute moto. Good o ring chain would have been the go to for off-road setup. I run a uw ring on my mx bike even.

      I love that bike and it actually does very well off road with one big exception, sand. The 17 inch wheel and steep fork angle is tricky in sand. The crf will be great for Mojave. Also we’re still testing it out and seeing what’s possible with it. The whole make one bike do all things.

    I hate to be that guy, but that's not how you are supposed to change tires. The recommended method involves various mismatched irons intended for any wheel but the one you've got, ranging from tiny ineffectual ones meant for bicycles, the huge rusty one for trucks, and the horrible spoon forged onto the handle of that one monkey wrench you found on the side of the road. All of these are then inserted haphazardly, almost blindly, into the space between the tire carcass and rim before being racked around and cursed at until the job is finished or one slips out and clocks you in the face.

    I'm sorry guy but you made two wrongs with the rear tire, one it's not DOT you'll be riding dirty with that tire. Two that tire Is way too big for that wheel, there should be an gap between the rear tire and the rear inner fender, this is why factory sizes are important. Lastly that tire will wear terribly when you hit the highway and you're gonna lose torque at the wheel with a tire that large.

    • @TheGardenSnake
      @TheGardenSnake  2 года назад

      As I explained this is set up for pure off road park. It’s never going on the road let alone the highway in this set up. There is a gap back there. All is fine.
