Modification and Ambiguity l Ambiguity created in using Multiple Post-modifiers in a noun phrase
Dear Viewers,
In this video I have discussed Postmodification and its Ambiguity . Ambiguity may arise when there are multiple Post-modifiers in a Noun phrase. Ambiguity can be removed if Modifiers are placed in the proper place . Noun Modifier generally modifies nearby noun but Ambiguity arises when it modifies slightly distant noun . Each example has been explained in detail so that your confusion is removed.
Remember - The four Ambiguous Structures of Noun Phrase
1) Noun head + Prepositional Phrase + Relative Clause
2) Noun head + Prepositional Phrase + Participial Phrase
3) Noun head + Participial Phrase + Prepositional Phrase
4) Noun head + Prepositional Phrase 1 + Prepositional Phrase 2

ইংরেজি খবরের কাগজ এবং প্রতিযোগিতামূলক examএর বই পড়ার সময় একটা sentence-এ অনেকগুলি কমা ব্যবহার করা হয় ফলে বাক্যটি সম্পূর্ণ অর্থ বুঝতে খুব অসুবিধা হয়। এই বিষয়ে যদি আপনি একটি ভিডিও বানাতেন তাহলে আমি খুব উপকৃত হতাম এবং আমার মত যদি কেউ থেকে থাকে সেও আশা করা যায় খুব উপকৃত হবে।
