Pole but The fact that you lost your dad and got blessed with a life changing job the same day, should make you have peace with God. Sometimes He takes, so He can give. If you question HIS decision, He may change your circumstances. Thank Him instead, Jalango.
Never advice someone who is grieving of their loved ones what do. Untill you're there, probably then you will understand why it's hard to move on. Learn to wish them good on their grieving journey and pray for them until they find peace. I lost my brother last year and it is hard for me to even mention his name. I cry almost daily for how much I miss him. I mean, people mourn differently and never teach someone the 'best' way you think it is to mourn or ask them to move on.
