It is comforting to hear Spade talk about how stressing it is to be living in these times.....if he can acknowledge that and still go on with his great comedy I can go forward knowing I'm not alone. Thanks David!
Stress is a big thing in his comedy. He talks about being in a bad spot also at the Sandler Mark Twain thing and how he cheered him up
I agree, I found it comforting somehow, him showing his humanity
All the people who were part of the SNL crew in the late 80's and 90's ended up being friends for life. So many people spoke at Sandler's Kennedy Honor it was amazing.

David is a great listener. He really pays attention when people speak. A wonderful quality to have. No wonder he's attractive to the ladies and seems to be a caring friend. In the early episodes I felt David was really carrying Dana when he probably needed it. Such a good buddy. We all need a David in our lives.
And many of them are a lot more politically conservative compared to the casts of the 2000s

I want to encourage you, because I hear you comment on your fears of being canceled. I know you both cut your teeth in the major network system, but NBC isn't waiting in the wings to give or take away a sitcom. You're both bigger than that. Too big to cancel! Let your edgy jokes Fly. SuperFly, that is.
Spade is the fucking best, his humor just aligns with mine totally on point, love that guy.
Love Fly on the Wall, but somehow enjoy this one even more. Not unlike Smartless, it feels like just chatting with your friends. Love it. Thanks to everyone involved in production.

Dana..."Lost in Paradise" is my favourite movie! I can't believe you think it's a stinker. All your little behaviours are so spot on for your character. Every second is delightful. All the other characters were so original and perfectly cast.

i love what bob odenkirk said about chris farley. bob elaborated times, before farley's fame, when he'd be at a show excited to see how people would take to his personality and would tell people "look, there's gonna be a guy that comes up that no one knows about, but by the end of his set everyone will know his name". bob was elated by people's instant transition, instant love of the guy, and it was all chris farley. like watching a magic trick.

I truly believe that Chris Farley could have become a legendary dramatic actor if he had more time and been able to harness his inner torment into his acting. He was educated in theater, creative, and was never meant to be put in the “fat, funny guy” box. I think that was only one facet of his ability. I really hope if the documentary is made, like David said, it isn’t focused on his addictions.
