This is a group of Israeli historians and Egyptian battle scenes showing who actually won in 1973? based on their goals that were set before the war. Yom Kippur and Ramadan were the days/month the war took place in. it was mainly Egypt and Israel fighting with Syria trying their best.
The war changed the middle east forever and changed the US and USSR relations forever. it also saw Egypt finally regaining it's lost honor from the 1967 six 6 day war. or Arab Israeli war.

Great video, he is exactly right..! War is defined by who managed to achieve there strategic objectives. Egypt did so and therefore won the 1973 war 🇪🇬

a military victory is defined by how much land you managed to gain by the end of the war. by the end of that war egypt managed to gain 1,200km2 but lost 1,350km2. a net loss of 150km2. and syria just lost an additional 500km2.

David elazer, the chief of isreali commander in 1973 said"in spite of our encircling them(he meant the third army)they resisted and advanced to occupy a wider area"

Despite encircling them, that doesnt mean they overcomed them or controlled them, the 3rd army resisted,long live Egypt 🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬
