- It's been a fun journey, you guys! We were just getting adjusted to our new life with our baby Mila and BAM! we were told that our rental was going for sale in April. We were shocked to find out that the rental market has gotten worse and decided to buy instead. It was stressful and chaotic but we're slowly settling in and so far loving our new house ♥ Gotta go baby is crying, can't type anym....

buying is way more secure for you and your family and though moving is chaotic, so worth it to call it YOURS in the end, Congrats! Its a beautiful house!
It’s always a struggle moving but in the end it’s worth it...it’s a beautiful home..and yes it is hard finding someone to work on the small jobs even here in Pennsylvania....Good Luck with everything!!! 🏡
It is so nice to see you all doing so well. Try to not fall into the pet trap. Pets cost a lot in disposable income that can be used toward real needs, and they can cause breathing problems in children. Just a tip from someone who suffered from both!
The SAME exact thing happened to us. I didn’t appreciate being pushed into buying before I was ready but now that we are settled I’m thrilled it worked out as it did.

I’m so proud of you two for coming out on top after experiencing the situation with your rental. This was a huge problem for where I live in Canada, the gov’t decided to implement new landlord laws, one of them prevents landlords from evicting for reasons like selling or using the unit for family. I’m hoping someone is fighting for similar rights in your area, as this law has probably saved many families in my city.

Honestly, Maria, how you keep smiling, I don't know! I admire you both so much. Having to unexpectedly BUY A HOUSE, furnish it, pack up, move, unpack in such a short space of time, without a newborn would be a nightmare but with that gorgeous little baby by your side, it must be just so stressful. But as always, you have handled it amazingly. Even if you are crying yourself to sleep every night, I'd be impressed! Even without the stress of doing all of those things, having to just wipe out all your savings like that, when it wasn't exactly planned, must be a worry, but you'll do great. The new house looks lovely, and once the packing and furnishing is done you can relax a little and ENJOY your first owned home together xxxxx
