It is fine for good green screens. but we work for domestic movies. the way they shoot green are always worst. does this help in that case ? because the process you have shown is completely depending on a good screen correction. what if we are unable to make a good screen correction with the shot that is not shot well.
It depends on how bad the greenscreen is. Shooting a correct greenscreen is part of the process, if it's badly done, unfortunately you won't be able to do miracles and in this case the only solution would be rotoscopy.
@@theagsway Thank you for the reply Sir. I understand. And I'm requesting you to educate us more. Do make regular videos please. At least make short videos with production techniques. Thank you very much. You're a very good teacher. And perfectionist.
i want you ask you something. we are currently on a project. we are doing CG face replacement for dogs. we are first painting out the original dog's face. then integrating CG face. but we are facing issue with skin matching. in the movie the dogs speak. so the CG dogs has different movements. do suggest a technic to match the CG skin movement with original. we are currently matching with Spline warp and Gridwarp. but they are being handy for some shots. especially if the dog is rotating the face ? hoping to get some help from you Sir
@@angulurivamshi5058 I wish I could, but unfortunately with my job and my kid it's really hard to find time for that. But as soon as I can find some, I will post new content
Hello, thank you for watching and for your comment. It's indeed quite normal that you feel kinda lost if you are a beginner. I'm mostly talking about case scenarios made for people who already know the software. But don't worry, there are plenty of good tutorial on RUclips for beginner, and once you'll feel a bit more comfortable, come back here and everything will make more sense 😉
@theagsway thanks alot..and I wish if you can make a roto/paint series..as I'm planning to specialise in it..and there is not many tutorials offer those info in a good way like yours..also greeting from Egypt alot of my friends appreciated your content as its rare nowadays to have a great tutor not just a great tutorial🥰
When you are adding any node. its creating some gap between two nodes. how is it happening. usually the node connects close to it. but it is having some gap in between.
i know im bit late. I think you are confused because he is using channels (such as roto shapes up in stream and calling it back when required). Search for channels and shuffle node.
Preferences/Node Graph - enable snap to grid (and show grid) - make snap threshold 1000 Then when you make a new node it will snap to the grid (whatever distance you enable - grid size 80 deep should give you a bit of clearance) if these parameters are not enabled then the new node will position itself under the previous node at a default set distance (it appears to me about 61 (pixels?))
Hello, I'm talking about that in my class 06-01 "GST Template Overview" here is the link : ruclips.net/video/4dBVK7m38Gs/видео.html In the description you'll find the link to the base template from Tony Lyons, I give it to you here : compositingmentor.com/2015/12/18/advanced-keying-breakdown-4-1-template/ My template is my own based on my experiments and it's not meant to be shared, but it's built from Tony Lyons' one. So the best I would suggest would be to take it and build your own adding my insights plus your own experiment, there is no better way to fully understand it and make it work the best to your way of working ;)

It's pretty hard to say without seeing the actual footage... but if you have a good cleanplate, you should be able to extract them with the IBK... otherwise, roto is sometime the only solution

Hey man, I'm sorry but I don't understand what do you mean by "gap". Could be more specific ? Any moment in the video where you see that ?
