Great explanation! I have the 700D and this experimental build, and I'm having some random pink frames. I'll try your method and see if that works. I bought a Sandisk Extreme Pro 64GB 170MB/s and 240Mhz overclock works fine, except for the aforementioned pink frames. The recording is continuous.
I got speed drops when I tried 240Mhz. I did the benchmark and speed dropped from 60 to 20Mbps at times. So I'm considering getting 170Mb/s version of the card. But yes, definitely try removing overlays when recording, I specifically turned those features on to record pink frames for the video. Without it I didn't have any pink frames the whole time I was shooting. Good luck :D
@@IAMDIMITRI Thanks for the tip! I'm using the new presets: 4.5K, 4.3K, 4K and UHD (1x3 binning) and I'm having no problems whatsoever. Nevertheless, I'll try removing overlays; this way I will be able to record at higher resolutions.
Hello Dimitri! Thank you for these videos! I installed it on my 700D and now i'm learning how to work with that. But i don't understanding exactly how crop mode work. If i choose a highest resolution, it expand the image to that, and then it crop a little bit of this image?
You just stretch it by 3. Or use stretch to fit the screen if your comp is in correct resolution allready. You can also stretch clips in mlv app by a factor of 3 and export in whatever you need.
That's a good question. I used Bilals build. I think that the crop mode v2 in this build is somehow modified. I don't know if this helps or not. And you also have to play around with the live preview option inside of Magic Lantern Menu. I think that at the higher resolutions you might want a different way of displaying. Sometimes live preview is not possible and it will be black and white laggy view. And sometimes the cropping is a bit different from what you are recording. You definitely need to try and see what works best for you.
@@fineartproductions1180 I would use 170Mbps Sandisk Extreme pro if I could because then you maybe able to use 240Mhz overclock. But if you are not going to use 1x3 binning then slower cards might be ok. Sorry it's really hard to answer. It might be better to just Google that question or visit Magic Lantern forums.
Great information Dimitri! I Will try this totdat!
This is the best build so far I think, there is so much included and so much to play around with. Good luck :D
От души, я благодаря тебе пересел с 550 на 700 и очень доволен. Добра тебе, брат!

No problem :D Have a great day.
Hi what music are you using? Also a tip: if you want to use 3x3 without aliasing you can activate smooth 2 pass aliasing in MLVAPP
I have artlist subscription. Thanks for the tip.
Great vid!
Thanks =)

It crops into picture to achieve 1to1 sensor read out. When it read the wholse sensor it skips pixels in between. Can cause artifacts etc
Hi how to I stretch out 1x3 binning mode in Davinchi resolve thanks

There is this on the eos M?
Its on 700d.
Привет! на 2:06 объясни плиз, как исправить такое разрешение, как его сделать нормальным? В какой программе это делать? В MlvApp?
Yes, you can do that in MLV app, but you can always just stretch it in any video edition program.
Can you use Danne's Build and Bilal's Build at the same time or do you choose one experimental build at a time?
Choose one on each card and switch between them :P
@@IAMDIMITRI Ah perfect, thanks so much!
@@IAMDIMITRI Sorry again, is the main difference between the builds that Danne's provides higher resolution while Bilal's provides the 1x3 Binning?
I think they are similar. But Bilals buuld has profiles etc. So I was able to push camera further. I switched to Bilals build.
@@IAMDIMITRI Okay great, thanks so much again. Subscribed!
Are the clips just 1:3 Binning without DUAL ISO or 1:3 Binning with DUAL ISO?
Oh, and how do you do live preview because my whole screen shows artifacts :(
Oh nvm I figured this part out haha!
Everything here was without dual ISO.

how much speed card should i need to use while rec in 4k
Its not really 4k. You cant record 4k on 700d.

Why is your video soft? In normal 3x3 binning 1736x972 14bit depth my footage is much sharper
Dont remember. Probably some filter in front of the lens maybe.
