Best thing I did in lockdown was deleting all of my social media accounts (I only had a few so it wasn't that much of a chore), it's been three months now and I really do not regret it. Less ads, less comparison, less fakeness overall = less stress to me. I was tired of looking at my phone every 10 minutes like it was my job to keep up with people I mostly don't even know. Life is much nicer on this side!
The one thing I would't agree with is the gym membership. I've tried working out at home during quarantine and it's not the same, my gym is a small gym and it is such a great atmosphere with good people and it really helps my mental health. I noticed when I couldn't go my mental health declined, so I'm more than happy to spend money on the gym
Oh I love green bananas !(I'm puerto rican so I know 101 recipes with them 😂), my husband thought it was weird when he first married me but now eats whatever I give him 😂😂 we embrace each other's cultures
I cancelled my gym membership early this year, I was very hesitant as well, I’m someone who’s been going to the gym for 25 years. Best decision I made in a long time. I save time driving to and from the gym and I love working out at home, there’s a lot we can do at home!
My husband and I live in RI and planted a veggie garden. We got seedlings from neighbors and everything so it was pretty cheap to start! It’ll save a ton even just for a few months. And banana pancakes are so easy! I make them for my daughter, half a banana and 1 egg makes 3 pancakes for her.
Great video 😊 I also live in an area where it is cold most of the year. During the few warm months I like to grow my own produce then freeze or can the excess. This means you can save a lot on produce even when you can’t grow it during the winter. You of course have to sacrifice the space to store the food, but for me it is worth it.
I have the same drying rack!! I love it so much. I think air drying your clothes makes them last longer!! I only put pajamas and socks in the machine dryer (:
Where I live we only have like June-August for summer but we plant a lot of our own fruits and vegetables and herbs. If you plant the seeds or get small plants that are already started in like mid May start them in your house or in a mini green house and then transplant them to a bigger pot if needed! It obviously doesn’t last year round but we get a LOT of food even if it’s just in the summer months!
Girl! I’m next door in CT. Try gardening next year. I even found a rolling garden bed that can easily go on a balcony. Even if it only last May-August it’s worth it and fun!

If I weren't already a minimalist/frugal person, you would inspire me to become one. Because I want to be just like you. I am inspired to re-clean my apartment and get it even more aesthetically pleasing.

That is very true Alax, last Christmas I had received a free google home mini from having Spotify. I ended up giving it to my mom since I had no use for it but it is a nice way to save money when it comes to giving gifts either for birthdays or other holidays.

BUT if you don't ever use your gym membership then YES. CANCEL THAT SHIT NOW.

Who uses MULTIPLE dryer sheets anymore??? You can make the balls with any yearn you got lying around and if you want a smell put an EO on them as well. My mom made yarn ones. The only bad thing is they are getting hairy on the outside because they are acrylic yarn, not cotton.

So smart with using the dryer rack. Its a small one time investment that saves a ton on the electric (or gas) bill.
i use wool dryer balls and they're great but i have heard that using essential oils with them could put you at a higher risk of fire

A bidet can save you a lot of money. No more toilet paper hello water and reusable towels.

Handwash all but towels.Smalls can go in salad spinner! Hang to dry. But tiny portable machines only use maybe same water as handwash.🤔🤔
