      100%
I haven’t noticed any change in the climate over half a century.
Hot days are still hot days, wet days are still wet.
No one called those conditions “heat waves” back then.
Why do they think Queenslander houses were designed that way at the end of the Nineteenth Century?

Yeah what a soft generation, I remember summers so hot in the 70’s that the bitumen on the roads and school playgrounds melted, they can’t fool me about the climate I’ve seen much higher temperatures heatwaves that lasted 4 days in the mid 40 degrees and we didn’t have air con. So toughen up and stop the fake climate alarmism.

Im sick and tired of the lying and propaganda that the government and the weather bureau put out there, saying its climate change .

We want farms that grow food not expensive, unreliable solar and wind farms that in themselves are environmental disasters. The effect they have on the land, animals, insects, and to top it off you can't recycle wind turbine blades or solar panels...but you can recycle nuclear waste, some newer nuclear reactors even run on nuclear waste.

Here in Britain it's more the cold, cloudy and still weather (common this time of year) that is the problem. It can last for weeks, windmills and solar panels don't work, and there won't be enough back up to do normal things, let alone charge a new electric car or boiler. Nothing is thought through in net zero lunacy.

    • @WiseGuy02

What do you mean it was well thought through have you seen all the people that bought this lie. Remember you will own nothing and be happy. Making you buy a EV than restricting your power means you can only drive when we say you can. They do everything in little steps before you know it we have nothing left. And if you don't follow the rules they little they let you use will get taken away so you better fall in line. Yet they will still fly their privet jets have their mansions backup generators travel the world well you can't go out because your car has a flat battery and you have no power and when you do have power it is to expensive to charge your car or use your AC. Solar panels and batteries don't last that long so once your close to paying them off they need replacing. It is a never ending story.

In Germany, under green madness, all nuclear power stations were dismantled.
There were already energy shortages, but Germany could (at very high costs) obtain electricity from neighboring countries during those shortages.
Australia, due to its isolated location, does not have those possibilities and must be self-supporting.
Even a small child understands this.

I've never been to Australia, but I imagine the summers can be a brutal in parts. Here in The United States, this was one of my biggest fears about Harris winning was that we would wind up in a situation like South Africa, where there would be load shedding. Too many power plants have been shut down as it is. In Ohio where I live, summers are awful humid. No way I would go without A/C or being forced to turn it up to 82 degrees Fahrenheit, like some have suggested.

We especially need nuclear power plants in Australia ASAP, we actually needed them 30 years ago too. Kyle Hill does a great YT video explaining the myth that nuclear power plants are to expensive and take to long to build.
We have plenty of uranium, a reactor in Sydney for making nuclear medicine and we now have RN and USN nuclear submarine visiting us regularly and have even already been serviced in Perth.
We already have plenty of nuclear waste from x ray machines, nuclear medicines and our Sydney reactor not to mention from our future submarines. So the waste side of the debate is already a non issue.
It's just the Russian sponsored green protesters scared of losing there billions in future earnings by ripping us poor Aussies off with expensive solar and wind projects.
EDIT: i remember the summer of 89-90 and there being 6 days consecutively of 40+ degrees C. I remember because i drove in it from Adelaide to Darwin over 3 days and the few days before i left were 40+ too.

I often summered in Australia to avoid Canadian winters I remember one summer in NSW that stared in July and ended in June and 35 c was a cool day all the while there were warnings of an ice age imminent and the hot weather was a sign of the Apocalypse to come. There were announcements of records being broken every few days and I'm sure if you could find an old hard copy of the Guinness book of world records they'd be higher than all the recent hottest days on record that was probably achieved by placing the thermometers near the bonfire made of Guinness books.

Countries overseas have restarted the coal fire power statiion but Australia who is rich in coal is closing theirs and they haven't got anything reliable to replace the coal. That takes a lot of brains to do that. Australia take note of what is happening in northern countries and try keeping our money in Australia. Even new well maintained coal plants can have problems. Callide C in Qld is a relatively new plant and had recently been through an expensive refit, yet Unit 4 exploded in May 2021, leaving 375,000 customers without power. Now people duck from air con home to air con car into air cond work 🤷🏼
It’s not hot! Nothing has changed, this is a land of flooding rains and drought, so before you correct me do some research, using actual temperatures not the computer adjusted ones the BOM uses, and they have used other tricks , it is a con, BUT that’s my opinion , doesn’t have to be yours folks.
There is no battery that will store enough power for enough kWh as yet or may never be , so wise up. Get a solar panel and a camp fridge cos there will be shortages, and if you have a smart meter the first thing you will lose is air conditioning, 180,000 people in QLD found this out last year. Look it up it’s true.
