Me too omg, I can still remember that in first and second grade I was taking swimming classes and I had them fridays after school at 6:45. And before that my mom always took me to the mall right next to the arena, where I had my swimming classes. And sometimes stronger would be played on the radio, but I always had it on repeat on my MP3 player and I would always jam it before I had my classes. This song will forever be my childhood anthem❤️🔥

sure kid, some of us are obsessed with creating the best quality music and some of you are satisfied with basic sounds. for some art is about constantly beating on your craft until a crack into advent garde opens. you may not understand this concept because you are certified with being good but not exceeding your own expectations
Like Yellow said, if you don't understand the struggle then you probably haven't reached the point where you want something more out of your music. You finally come to the realization that since you already have the experience at hand, all it takes now is time and effort. Therefore you want perfection since this will forever be your mark. And some even want their own personal watermark by creating genres and that takes time, effort and the eye and ear for perfection.
Drums are the integral part of making any beat. A basic beat is NEVER good enough for me and must be tweaked at constantly for the right punch. I need to feel an OOMPH when I make mine...the thumping has to hit me in my chest.
@@milhouse777 dude what kind of reasoning is that, it's like you came up with something and then some famous guy came out and do the exact thing and people be like yeah he is more famous so he was the guy who did it first it sure is more complicated than this the way they came up with their sound and the way kanye came up with his but your point is exactly like my example
I love the cut to the live performance at the end. That must be so rewarding, especially for someone like Kanye who produces his own tracks. To hear it on the concert size speakers and the crowd lovin it. Gotta be the best feeling in the world
matt wells i don't know where you got that conclusion from. Kanye didn't oppose Tim at all. Kanye didn't like the mix on his drums, that they were thumpy but not punchy, Tim told him he over compressed a kick that had no undertone. Tim gave him a kick with an undertone. Ye used it. Where did you see a difference in opinion?
art offical intellegence did he not keep trying to push what he wanted and show him instead of just saying that’s good enough. I’m not saying they fought but he was pretty adamant about what he wanted.
Uh sir, it wasn’t a right or a wrong that night me and Tim added drums to his beat. That actually me in that orange hat and that my ASR-10 I’m on and they r using
HANNON LANE I didn’t say there was a right or wrong that night , I’m just saying Kanye had a vision, they talked about it, then Tim did what he does. I was just trying to point out this was a young Kanye and he knew what he wanted even tho he was in the presence of a legend.
This is what happened. TIMBALAND was on tour with Justin TIMBERLAKE and we were headed for the Overseas leg of the tour. But first, we had to go to Connecticut. Kanye needed stronger drums to perform at the 2007 VMA’s. So he came to me and Tim to add heavier drums to his original drums. Kanye did not “stand up” to Tim in no kinda way.
See how they all paying attention when tim shows them the impact the 808s on top of the original kick… at the beginning of the video they said they tried to mix the song 10- different mixers Tim said your tryna compress a sound that don’t exist
A few years ago I hooked up an omega zip disk via scsi to my ASR-10 and it fried it. Sent it to the Soniq and he fixed it. Got an SD card drive after that and that works great. I still use the floppy drive occasionally to access old disks. Watching this video seeing the zip drive brought me here.
Everyone always gets mad at this song because Kanye "ripped off" Daft Punk but they took the sample from a 70's song by Edwin Birdsong called Cola Bottle Baby. And timberland didn't do much for this song the main mixing engineer was Manny Marroquin.
its like watching 2 world class chefs tinker with a dish, more this more that, sear or broil, chop or mini cuts, sour, sweet, bitter, savory....... fucking amazing.
I didnt know Tim was part of making this until I saw this video wow. I mean I read credits etc but I thought it was just because he had sampled something from him maybe. I was wrong.
actually, paranoid was sampled..i heard the original to that song like a month ago and was like oh ok thats where he got that from...its not a bad thing tho, people just need to stop hating on Kayne cause they want his spot, thats the only reason people hate
Wow I just witnessed a problem-solving session with Ye and Timb? This made me really emotional and teary. A reminder that I should be off RUclips and writing code. Where is my IDE, where is Python...
i'm gone write an essay like u did, but i said the (80s on) which means even to this day songs that are hits have been sampled, and there is a lot of producers that don't know how to play instruments but have an ear for what they are going for, therefor bringing a person that can make it happen....
@knansd Don't even bother mate, I get sick of ignorant people saying shit because they just found out what sampling is. You are exactly right, to sample like Kanye is hella hard. It's pure art. I love Daft Punk but people need to realise that Kanye just took a vocal sample and the rest was him, unlike Harder,Faster,Better,Stronger which is a borderline copying of Edwin Birdsongs Cola Bottle Baby.
Timbaland found that kick beautifully, he's got a fantastic ear

Heard it on the radio about a month ago on my way to work. A true classic.
I hate stronger

Negative. I relish every moment it’s NOT played. Not that great of a song, dude
Some say they're still mixing it today
hahahaha
Cause they are. He said that

Nah you're thinking of The Life of Pablo
HAHAHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAAHHAAH

Imma sick Fuck
@ I only like Kanye cause he supports trump
Worst Producer wow, you're such an intellectual.
Worst Producer when did he ever say he was an engineer ? Go and find a producer that is as good at engineering and he needs it to be
every producer knows the struggle of getting the perfect drum, that shit is irritating

lol yup
Metro just saying this bc he or she feels threatened by other producers. He wants to make others feel like he or she does, which is inadequate.

I like how Young Kanye stood his ground to a big time producer and and fought for his music and was right in the end.

Nobody stole anything. It was all properly credited and Daft Punk e en went on to work with Kanye on Yeezus
Goes to show you a simple pattern with the right sounds can have an amazing outcome.
Kanye tryna get just the kick, Timbaland tryna move a beat. this why he be having 10 names on 1 song 🤣
