My oldest daughter is an alcoholic 😢, she's been in treatment more than once, she recently backslid bad, now we don't speak😢, but I just keep praying God will touch her before it's too late 🙏🙏🙏🙏 alcohol is evil and useless

It is so hard to watch our adult children live in spiritual darkness. Thank you Daniel! I've been struggling with sexual sin ever since I was young, I didn't know the harm that it could cause. It's got a hold of me so tightly and now it's starting to form a dark path in my life. There is so much conflict and guilt within myself. I've recently tried to fight it by myself for my own selfish reasons, but I always get defeated and the pain always get's worse. I believe that this message is God telling me to completely surrender all the bad within myself and let him transform my life. I know God is with me and there's no temptation that he can't beat. Friend I'm persuaded to respond to your comment here after reading your open hearted confession. Don't be discouraged ever. You continue to trust that God CAN and WILL heal you. We all fall short of Gods glory but when we recognize our sinful nature and our inability to help ourselves we admit we need HIM and confess and repent. The outcome is that HE is so faithful to hear us and heal us. We are forgiven. Don't lose hope if you fail again and again. Immediately recognize you are wrong and repent. I, as many understand how sins become deep rooted as Brother Daniel explains here. Praise and Glory to the Wonderful and Mighty to save GOD we have in our King JESUS CHRIST!!! Just know that God forgives you. God doesn’t look at your sin, he looks at your heart… you obviously have a good heart that wants freedom in God from sin, so dont worry because you’re free by his grace. Just keep fighting the good fight and don’t give up. Amen 🙏

I know the Spirit is now at work in me. Having asked for forgiveness and repentance, I look back at my earthly desires with disgust . When I think and talk, a small voice works before I open my mouth or let the mind wander. I actively tell Satan to flee when intrusive thoughts arrive. Suddenly I am consumed with learning all about God and his word. I feel like a new creature, but the war goes on each day. My life is all of Gods will and my anxiety/depression is lifted. True! Only God can deliver you from sin. I've been praying for long time to be delivered from pornography, lust, alcohol, smoking and a whole bunch of sinful behavior. And I can tell you, God made intense progress with me (no more porn, lustful thoughts are quickly rebuked, no more getting drunk or tipsy, over 2 months without smoking, no more watching horror movies, and so on). Hopefully, and by the grace of God, I can do the next step and get baptized.

I say the Lord's prayer almost every morning n I'm doin better with it n after I say the Lord's prayer I don't look at porn n no sexual thoughts. The sexual thoughts do try to get in but the Holy Spirit knocks it out. I feel so much more better when I do say the Lord's prayer

It’s okay my friend. Please, do not hate yourself. I understand your grief though, my biggest battle was sexual sin. I tried and tried through my own WILL to stop, I guess in my delusion I wanted to prove to God that I wanted him so much that I would stop of my own will. But I would fail again and again and again and AGAIN! And it became very depressing, I would always give in and always feel true grief afterward. But my friend, that is why we WORSHIP OUR LORD! For He has almighty mercy and grace! And all you have to do is surrender to it! That is what I did. And I understand my friend, when you are in the moment and the temptation is rife, you almost don’t want to ask for it to be taken away, Satan whispers in your ear “go on, just do it. One last time” and “if you just do it you’ll feel so much better”, so you give in, and then it’s “oooooh, you disgusting rat. You’ve failed again. Do you even deserve mercy? Why even try to stop, you clearly can’t”. BUT DO NOT LISTEN. SATAN LIES, TEMPTS, SHAMES AND BLASPHEMIES! But believe me friend, just find the strength to ask, ask for the temptation to leave you, and all will be given. Surrender! Truly my friend, the feeling you get from resisting is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much greater than the quick high from giving in. Ohhh it’s magnificent, you can just bask in His almighty glory! On another note, a few things that worked/work for me are: firstly, just to sit with the feelings, close your eyes and just be with it and find peace with it, not accepting it, but just being with it, then, ask for it to be taken away and place it in the hands of our Father. Second, surround yourself with people whenever the temptation arises ( if it comes up on Fridays like you said, maybe go to the cinema on Fridays, or go out with a good friend (who doesn’t encourage what you are trying to resist)). Thirdly, imagine Jesus. Just imagine Him in the room with you, talking to you, laughing with you, loving you. I find that, if I do that I can’t even bring my self to sin because I love Him so so so much! And finally, start marking the days or times you’ve resisted. Obviously I don’t know you, but if your anything like me you will want to get that number as high as possible. But also, if you do give in. Please, don’t hate yourself for one second. Turn to Jesus and repent! Ask for His beautiful mercy! Jesus knows you and wants you to succeed! But He can’t forgive you if you can’t forgive others...that includes yourself, so forgive yourself and REPENT TO JESUS BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU AND CHERISHES YOU! ACCEPT HIM! And lastly, sorry this has been a novel, I just want to tell you how much Jesus, God and I love you. Jesus DIED just so you could be free, God sent His only Son to DIE just so you could be freed from your sin. How much must they love and treasure you? And I and They are truly, wholeheartedly rooting for you my beautiful friend. You bless your precious soul. And praise our Almighty Lord GOD AND JESUS! AMMMMMMMEEENNNNN! ❤✨

This is so true, i was set free from hash/weed and alcohol instantely when i cried out to Jesus, i didnt even have to try, no urges to do it. But i struggled along time with lust, basically because i tried to overcome it by my self.. i didnt truly understand that i need to give ALL my burdens to Christ. When i cried out to him about p*rn addiction he sat me free. Just give him all ur burdens and worries. Hebrews 12:1-4

Believing is the strongest power of all. It overcomes everything. I say this having been addicted for a long time to multiple substances. All is possible. But more important is to keep it. Hi dear You can be free. Permit me to share my addiction journey with you and how I got delivered. I could be of great help to you. Hi dear I have been there before and I totally understand what it means to be in that position. I was once addicted to pornography. Lustful thought was constantly in my face. I was hooked. I felt there was no way of escape for my soul. I felt bound but God save me. I remember how I will cry and feel so frustrated thinking help will never come but the God who sees came to my rescue. The question is, how? Firstly, I rededicated my life back to Christ. I was a christian but I had backslided. I realized that, indeed by strength shall no man prevail. I needed divine help to fight this battle. Secondly, I obeyed the scriptures that says evil company corrupt good manner. Through the help of the Holy Spirit I stayed away from friends who urge to do this detestable thing,. I deleted musics, novels and movies that urge me to do this evil. Then most importantly I surround myself with godly company, read my Bible more consistently, listen to godly contents. Also, the Bible believing church I started attending gave room for an accountability system. This made me accountable to a older christian who comfort, encourage and rebuke me when necessary. I realized that most times people fall back to their past sins because after they had been clean they did not fill themselves with godly things. When you take out the bad, you must let in the new if not the bad will return. see it has been 3 years plus now. I have not gone back to my addiction rather I have been more addicted to the word of God. If God can deliver me from this honestly there is no addiction he cannot deliver you from. I am so willing to help you. If you have any question please feel free to ask. May the good Lord deliver and set you free completely. Amen

If all would just put their Faith in the finished work of the Cross, the Holy spirit will go to work in their life. If you want the Spirit to work, your Faith mus be in right place...Jesus and the sacrifice of the Cross, the only way to overcome sin...Romans 8:2, praise God!

We live in the spirit when we realize that we serve the body which is Ego/sin, with earthly needs that separate us from God wich is in everyone of us. Spirit/God within us doesn't require anything what body( ego) looks to accomplish with flashy needs. God loves simplicity, to be able to manifest within our actions, love and honesty.

Daniel, I would like to thank the Lord and you - as I feel as though He sent you to me, being that you appeared on my homepage in a timeframe nothing short of perfect. All you spoke answered or confirmed everything I've thought about towards this now eleven year old pornography addiction, as though it all fit like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. As you said, I've been doing it all wrong all of this time, attempting to overcome my sin and this addiction through the strength of my own soul; only to be met with failure. Thank you Daniel! I've been struggling with sexual sin ever since I was young, I didn't know the harm that it could cause. It's got a hold of me so tightly and now it's starting to form a dark path in my life. There is so much conflict and guilt within myself. I've recently tried to fight it by myself for my own selfish reasons, but I always get defeated and the pain always get's worse. I believe that this message is God telling me to completely surrender all the bad within myself and let him transform my life. I know God is with me and there's no temptation that he can't beat. Friend I'm persuaded to respond to your comment here after reading your open hearted confession. Don't be discouraged ever. You continue to trust that God CAN and WILL heal you. We all fall short of Gods glory but when we recognize our sinful nature and our inability to help ourselves we admit we need HIM and confess and repent. The outcome is that HE is so faithful to hear us and heal us. We are forgiven. Don't lose hope if you fail again and again. Immediately recognize you are wrong and repent. I, as many understand how sins become deep rooted as Brother Daniel explains here. Praise and Glory to the Wonderful and Mighty to save GOD we have in our King JESUS CHRIST!!! Just know that God forgives you. God doesn’t look at your sin, he looks at your heart… you obviously have a good heart that wants freedom in God from sin, so dont worry because you’re free by his grace. Just keep fighting the good fight and don’t give up. Amen 🙏

I know the Spirit is now at work in me. Having asked for forgiveness and repentance, I look back at my earthly desires with disgust . When I think and talk, a small voice works before I open my mouth or let the mind wander. I actively tell Satan to flee when intrusive thoughts arrive. Suddenly I am consumed with learning all about God and his word. I feel like a new creature, but the war goes on each day. My life is all of Gods will and my anxiety/depression is lifted. True! Only God can deliver you from sin. I've been praying for long time to be delivered from pornography, lust, alcohol, smoking and a whole bunch of sinful behavior. And I can tell you, God made intense progress with me (no more porn, lustful thoughts are quickly rebuked, no more getting drunk or tipsy, over 2 months without smoking, no more watching horror movies, and so on). Hopefully, and by the grace of God, I can do the next step and get baptized.

I say the Lord's prayer almost every morning n I'm doin better with it n after I say the Lord's prayer I don't look at porn n no sexual thoughts. The sexual thoughts do try to get in but the Holy Spirit knocks it out. I feel so much more better when I do say the Lord's prayer

I understand your grief though, my biggest battle was sexual sin. I tried and tried through my own WILL to stop, I guess in my delusion I wanted to prove to God that I wanted him so much that I would stop of my own will. But I would fail again and again and again and AGAIN! And it became very depressing, I would always give in and always feel true grief afterward.
But my friend, that is why we WORSHIP OUR LORD! For He has almighty mercy and grace! And all you have to do is surrender to it! That is what I did.
And I understand my friend, when you are in the moment and the temptation is rife, you almost don’t want to ask for it to be taken away, Satan whispers in your ear “go on, just do it. One last time” and “if you just do it you’ll feel so much better”, so you give in, and then it’s “oooooh, you disgusting rat. You’ve failed again. Do you even deserve mercy? Why even try to stop, you clearly can’t”.
BUT DO NOT LISTEN. SATAN LIES, TEMPTS, SHAMES AND BLASPHEMIES! But believe me friend, just find the strength to ask, ask for the temptation to leave you, and all will be given. Surrender!
Truly my friend, the feeling you get from resisting is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much greater than the quick high from giving in. Ohhh it’s magnificent, you can just bask in His almighty glory!
On another note, a few things that worked/work for me are: firstly, just to sit with the feelings, close your eyes and just be with it and find peace with it, not accepting it, but just being with it, then, ask for it to be taken away and place it in the hands of our Father. Second, surround yourself with people whenever the temptation arises ( if it comes up on Fridays like you said, maybe go to the cinema on Fridays, or go out with a good friend (who doesn’t encourage what you are trying to resist)). Thirdly, imagine Jesus. Just imagine Him in the room with you, talking to you, laughing with you, loving you. I find that, if I do that I can’t even bring my self to sin because I love Him so so so much! And finally, start marking the days or times you’ve resisted. Obviously I don’t know you, but if your anything like me you will want to get that number as high as possible.
But also, if you do give in. Please, don’t hate yourself for one second. Turn to Jesus and repent! Ask for His beautiful mercy! Jesus knows you and wants you to succeed! But He can’t forgive you if you can’t forgive others...that includes yourself, so forgive yourself and REPENT TO JESUS BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU AND CHERISHES YOU! ACCEPT HIM!
And lastly, sorry this has been a novel, I just want to tell you how much Jesus, God and I love you. Jesus DIED just so you could be free, God sent His only Son to DIE just so you could be freed from your sin. How much must they love and treasure you? And I and They are truly, wholeheartedly rooting for you my beautiful friend.

This is so true, i was set free from hash/weed and alcohol instantely when i cried out to Jesus, i didnt even have to try, no urges to do it. But i struggled along time with lust, basically because i tried to overcome it by my self.. i didnt truly understand that i need to give ALL my burdens to Christ. When i cried out to him about p*rn addiction he sat me free. Just give him all ur burdens and worries. Hebrews 12:1-4

How could I disrupt my walk with the Lord when he's so good to mey? But it only effects those who realize they are sinners and why we need a Savior in Jesus Christ! I have been there before and I totally understand what it means to be in that position.
I was once addicted to pornography. Lustful thought was constantly in my face. I was hooked. I felt there was no way of escape for my soul.
I felt bound but God save me. I remember how I will cry and feel so frustrated thinking help will never come but the God who sees came to my rescue.
The question is, how?
Firstly, I rededicated my life back to Christ. I was a christian but I had backslided. I realized that, indeed by strength shall no man prevail. I needed divine help to fight this battle.
Secondly, I obeyed the scriptures that says evil company corrupt good manner. Through the help of the Holy Spirit I stayed away from friends who urge to do this detestable thing,. I deleted musics, novels and movies that urge me to do this evil.
Then most importantly I surround myself with godly company, read my Bible more consistently, listen to godly contents.
Also, the Bible believing church I started attending gave room for an accountability system. This made me accountable to a older christian who comfort, encourage and rebuke me when necessary.
I realized that most times people fall back to their past sins because after they had been clean they did not fill themselves with godly things. When you take out the bad, you must let in the new if not the bad will return.
see it has been 3 years plus now. I have not gone back to my addiction rather I have been more addicted to the word of God.
If God can deliver me from this honestly there is no addiction he cannot deliver you from.

Thank you so much Brother Daniel ,i have a hard time understanding the Bible, this channel has taught me so much, and I'm growing closer and closer to God everyday, it's so hard trying to learn the word ,and so many are just bickering back and forth, but i absolutely trust you and this channel, And i want to ask for prayers for my children, addiction to alcohol is killing my daughter 💔, she won't even speak to me ,and wheni try to talk to them bout God ,i get eye rolls and smirks, they were raised to worship the lord, but the evils of this world has taken hold of my children, i pray for every soul on earth to find God , before it's too late😢🙏in Jesus name🙏

Daniel, I would like to thank the Lord and you - as I feel as though He sent you to me, being that you appeared on my homepage in a timeframe nothing short of perfect.
All you spoke answered or confirmed everything I've thought about towards this now eleven year old pornography addiction, as though it all fit like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.
As you said, I've been doing it all wrong all of this time, attempting to overcome my sin and this addiction through the strength of my own soul; only to be met with failure.
Now, I know the correct way to win this war IS NOT to fight through my own plans, but to fight through PRAYER as guided by the HOLY SPIRIT.
