If 2024 mariah works on improving her tone shell be fine in my opinion. Tbh i prefer a amazing tone rather than constant nasal High belts. Rwt even though its not the best of mariah just proves how tone can save the day. Not everything needs to be F5s and G5s anymore especially in mariahs current vocal state
She needs to improve her tone pitch and less stress on the vocals becuase she is putting tension in them also I feel like if she let loose at relaxed her body and just went for those 5th octave notes I feel like she could do it
I prefer the old-school Mariah Carey (Glitter, Debut and Music box) but I think it’s absolutely incredible that she is still eating in her new sound after so many tours in years in the studio

I realized how many 90s runs and riffs she did this past Christmas tour. Hopefully she stops lipping this years tour
